With the most recent update to Fortnite: Battle Royale from Epic Games, fans have received something they’ve been waiting a long time for: the return of the pump shotgun. The rare (blue) pump deals 190 damage to the head at close range, however fails in comparison to the combat shotgun at medium to long range as well as fire rate. While the pump shotgun is the weapon of choice for many eagle-eyed gamers, if you aren’t so confident in your aim, the combat shotgun is still the way to go.

  • Revolver: the weapon will be available in rare, common, uncommon, rarities.

14 Days of Summer

Along with the pump shotgun, Fortnite fans have been blessed with the 14 days of summer. Each of the fourteen days will see a new unvaulted weapon which will only last for one day. As well, a new limited time game mode will be released each day and will cycle at random from the following modes:

Heavy Metal Squads

In this mode, only the “Heavy” weapon variants can be found in loot boxes. Get your loadout and get in the fight! With this game more, only weapons with heavy in the name are available. There will also be quicker metal farming rates and faster storm closing times.

Storm Chasers: Surfin’ (squads)

In this mode, everyone deploys to a vehicle at the start of the game. Impulses will periodically be placed into your inventory during the match. As always, the last player standing wins.

Splashdown Squads

Another summer-themed mode where players try to eliminate opponents with the new Water Balloon Item. Respawns are on during this mode. Players will primarily be able to damage people with the new water balloon item. First to reach the goal score wins.

Power Up Solos

Become the most powerful player in the match. Respawns are on at the start of the game, but respawns will turn off after a set time. Max shields limit increases every time you consume a shield. Shield drops in supply crates have been greatly increased. Shields levels will fill up once respawning is turned off.

Leave None Behind Duos

United you stand strong, but divided you fall. Slurp effect always active while no teammates are down. If a teammate is downed, the downed teammate becomes immune to damage. While a teammate is downed, all other teammates lose the slurp effect, and will start to take damage over time.

Use With Care Duos

Resources are scarce keeping builds to a minimum. Players will spawn in with an initial amount of building materials, but cannot get new resources throughout the match.

Headshots Duos

In this mode, precision wins over spamming and may whoever has the best aim win. Players can only deal damage with headshots and all shotguns have been removed.

Tank Battle Squads

Players start with increased shields and health at the beginning of the game. Siphon is turned on and increased to match increased health. Ammo levels have also increased, but there are no healing items.

Builders Paradise Squads

The perfect mode for builders, structure health is strongly increased, as well as resource gathering rates. However, neutral editing has been turned on meaning anyone can edit any player-built wall.

Wick’s Bounty Duos

Wick’s Bounty is back! Eliminate other players and collect other player’s coins to prove that you are the best in the lobby. All players spawn in with weapons and three lives. Win by hunting down and eliminating high value targets as they appear on the map.

Arsenal (Solos)

Show off your skills with a variety of different weapons. The winner is the player who can win with the worst weapons. Players start each game with the best weapons, but eliminating other players makes your weapons worse. First to get an elimination with the final weapons set wins.

Rumble Squads

A slightly different iteration of the classic rumble squads, but the stakes are higher and players have fewer teammates. Respawning is on and only green rarity or better weapons are available. First to hit the goal score wins.

Loadout Swap Squads

In a game mode that requires versatility and instant adaptation, this mode gives players a random loadout. After a certain amount of time a new loadout will be granted. Respawn is on. First to hit the goal score wins.

Strategic Structures Squads

With a small twist on building, players must think more carefully about which materials to use. Metal and stone structure health has been increased. At the same time, metal and stone resource farming has also increased. However, metal and stone material farming limits have been lowered.
