Epic Games have just unveiled the Week 2 Quests for Fortnite Paradise, each of which grants a hefty reward of 20,000 XP when completed. For this week players will be sent on a journey throughout the Fortnite island, shooting targets along ziplines and making use of the new items unique to this season. For those who are looking to progress even further through the Battlepass and reap the rewards, here is your Chapter 3 Season 4 Week 2 Quest Guide.
FORTNITE PARADISE WEEK 2 QUEST GUIDE
Damage Players Within 5 Seconds of Mantling (0/350)
Kicking off this week’s quest, players are tasked with dealing a total of 350 damage to opponents and, in order for your progress to count, all inflicted damage must be done within 5 seconds of mantling. This quest seems pretty difficult as it can only be accomplished in certain scenarios where you are required to mantle over obstacles. Therefore it is recommended you carry a shotgun and an SMG as your swap weapon. When you encounter an enemy on an elevated surface, ensure you mantle up to them and fire off your shotgun to inflict some serious damage, Next, swap to your SMG to finish the job.
Deal Damage To Opponents With a Legendary Weapon (0/150)
Much like the previous quest, this one tasks players with dealing damage to enemy players, only this time it needs to be done with a legendary weapon. Players are tasked with dealing a total of 150 damage with a legendary weapon, which can be identified by its golden-colored hue. Due to the nature of this quest, you could complete it alongside the previous one. One elimination should be enough to obtain this quest XP reward as players tend to average anywhere from 100 to 200 health.
Eliminate Opponents While Chromed (0/3)
Haven’t made use of the new Chrome Splash yet? Well now is the time to do so. For this quest, players are tasked with eliminating three opponents in total while they are chromed. To become chromed, simply locate a Chrome Splash and throw it at your feet. Chrome Splashes can be found in chromed chests, but can also be obtained when harvesting chromed structures. When a player is chromed, they are capable of entering a blob-like form when sprinting which offers increased movement speed, a secondary jump, and the ability to phase through structures when they are jumped into. Simply eliminate 3 opponents in this state to complete this quest.
Emote For 5 Seconds in The Flairship (0/1)
Time to return to The Flairship again this week, which is currently located near Grim Gables. In order to gain that lucrative XP reward, emote inside The Flairship for a total of 5 seconds. It is recommended that you use a looping emote here as their duration will cover the 5 seconds required for this quest.
Gain Shields at the Reality Tree (0/75)
The Reality Tree seems to now be an overlooked location, so it is great to see it included in this week’s quests. To complete this quest, simply head over to the Reality Tree and gain a total of 75 shields. This can be done via shield consumable items. However, there is an abundance of mushrooms here that when bounced on that grant shield. Either method will, but the latter will probably be the most convenient as luck is not involved.
Open Chests or Ammo Boxes Inside The Driftwood (0/3)
This quest tasks players with opening a total of 3 ammo boxes or chests inside The Driftwood, which is the pirate ship currently located northwest of Flutter Barn. This ship is quite lucrative, containing a secret vault that holds many chests and supply drops to those who gather a total of 2 keys to unlock it. Opening this vault will offer enough chests to complete the quest, but this method is rather counterproductive. Instead, land at The Driftwood and open the small number of ammo boxes and chests found outside of the vault.
Shoot Targets While Ziplining (0/3)
Put your marksman skills to the test now with the most unique out of all the 7 quests. In order to complete this one, players will need to shoot a total of three targets whilst ziplining. The locations of these targets vary, but can easily be found by hovering over this quest over in the Quest section of your menu. Carrying an assault rifle for this quest is recommended due to its range, ammo count, and stability.
Now that you know how complete the Week 2 Quests for Fortnite Paradise, go ahead and put what you have learned into practice. If you have not already completed last week’s quests, then check out the Chapter 3 Season 4 Week 1 Quest guide in order to fast-track your Battlepass progress even further.
