Fortnite Paradise has just launched and is propelling players into a chrome-altered island fit with new locations, new items, and an all-new seasonal Battlepass. With this season featuring unique items and new mechanics, it’s easy to get lost in the complexity of it all. However, here you will learn everything Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 has to offer.
Weapons and Items
The EvoChrome weapons are a new weapon type added into the loot pool of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. Whilst the weapons themselves seem like modified versions of already existing weapons, they have the unique property of evolving in rarity when dealing damage to opponents and wildlife. Currently, there are only two EvoChrome weapons in the game, those being the EvoChrome Shotgun and the EvoChrome Burst Assault Rifle, but there may be more to come in future updates.
The Port-a-Bunker is a brand-new utility item that performs very much like the Port-a-Fort. When deployed, this item will spawn a small bunker which will provide cover from enemy players. Unlike the Port-a-Fort, the Port-a-Bunker is quite small and compact, plus players are unable to edit the structure itself.
The Chrome Splash is a new throwable item implemented into the world of Fortnite and has some unique properties never before seen in the game. The Chrome Splash is capable of Chroming both players and structures, both of which double as new mechanics. Chromed players are able to enter a sludge-like state when sprinting, giving them increased movement speed and a secondary jump which consumes stamina. Chromed structures allow players to phase through them, thus allowing for an easy method for invading your enemy’s boxes.

Keys can now be obtained from chests and are used to open secret vaults around the island. Small vaults can be found within the Seven Outposts, whilst larger vaults can be found in new locations such as Lustrous Lagoon. Each vault contains chests, Slurp Barrels, and more.
A new season would not be complete without a whole host of new locations. Players can head to Herald’s Sanctum to battle the new in-game boss or search for EvoChrome weapons in Shimmering Shrine or Cloudy Condos. Lustrous Lagoon holds a secret vault in its floating pirate ship, and other already existing locations have undergone plenty of changes.
An all-new seasonal Battlepass has been released alongside Fortnite Paradise featuring a whole load of new cosmetic rewards. Spider-Gwen enters the popular battle royale game, whilst a tonne of new original skins are also available for players to unlock. Some rewards include Meow Skulls, Twyn, Lennox Rose, Paradigm, and more.
Dive into Fortnite Paradise now to fight alongside your teammates, or battle alone in this new chrome-filled world. Whilst you embark on your journey through Fortnite Island, make sure to complete your weekly quests to reap the benefits of their XP rewards.
