Excited for Fortnite Paradise? Fortnite is about to head into its next season with Chapter 3 Season 4 just around the corner and as the latest teasers suggest, the island is set to change once again. Whilst players are still in the midst of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, let’s explore the best locations to drop at in the island’s current state.
Reality Falls is a lush forest biome filled with giant mushrooms and colorful trees. Naturally, this location provides a tonne of loot and materials for players to stock up on early game. However, this area is fairly contested, so players need to be on their toes when dropping here. With an abundance of materials, chests, and enemy players, Reality Falls is a great drop spot for aggressive players who thrive in early game battles.
Reality Falls provides:
- 30+ possible chest spawns
- 10+ slurp barrels
- Lakes for fishing
- Tonnes of material farming potential from trees, rocks, and structures
- 10+ vehicles for a quick getaway
Shroom Station is a lot smaller than the previous location on this list and is located on the outskirts of Reality Falls. But this drop location is not to be underestimated. Shroom Station is great for a solo run due to the high number of chests you can find in this area. Players can abuse this location to its fullest to become well equipped when stragglers begin to migrate over from Reality Falls. This little gas station is usually ignored at the start of the match, making it a great spot to drop for players who want to avoid encountering enemies right at the start of a match.
Shroom Station provides:
- 7 possible chest locations
- 1 Vending Machine
- 5 Slurp Barrels
- Nearby river for fishing
- A great deal of metal and brick materials.
Located on the outskirts of the map, Fungi Farm attracts very few players, making it the perfect location for players who want to keep a low-profile early game. With a tonne of structures for harvesting, guaranteed Slurp Barrels, plenty of chests, and cars for a quick getaway, players dropping here are sure to be well equipped for mid-game.
Fungi Farm provides:
- 10 possible chest spawns within the vicinity
- 6 Slurp Barrels
- Fishing nearby in the ocean, lake, and reef
- Cars for fast travel
- Tonnes of materials from wooden structures, rocks, and cars.
This fan favorite location now sports numerous giant mushrooms with the release of Chapter 3 Season 3, some of which have lifted much of the location into the air. Greasy Grove hosts a large amount of loot, farming potential, and heals, but is often a highly contested location with no shortage of early game battles. When dropping here, players can utilize the high ground, provided by the overgrown mushrooms, in order to gain an advantage on players down below and increase their chances of coming out on top.
Greasy Grove provides:
- 37 possible chest locations
- Tonnes of farming potential for wood, metal, and brick
- 5 Slurp Barrels
- Cars for fast travel and harvesting metal
Located southwest of Logjam Lumberyard, Rave Cave is another large POI that is sure to draw a lot of attention. With this location’s verticality, players can easily utilize height as an advantage to land easy headshots on opposing players. With a tonne of chests, floor loot, and slurp barrels for heals, Rave Cave is the perfect location for players who want to get the best loot early game.
Rave Cave provides:
- 61 possible chests
- 20+ Slurp Barrels
- Slip Streams, Launch Pads, and Ballers for fast travel
