Fortnite has just revealed its Chapter 3 Season 4 Week 3 Quests, meaning players can obtain a hefty amount of XP. This week players will need to deal a whole lot of damage to players with the new Cobra DMR, Assualt Rifles, and SMGs, and will even need to travel to various locations around the island. For those looking to further their Battlepass progress to get even further to unlocking the new Enlightened Styles, here is your Chapter 3 Season 4 Week 3 Quest Guide.
Fortnite Paradise Week 3 Quest Guide
Deal Damage To Opponents With A Marksman Rifle From At Least 75m Away (0/150)
To complete the very first quest, players will need to deal a total of 150 damage to players who are at least 75m away. There is currently only one marksman rifle in the game, and that is the Cobra DMR which is one of the many new things added to Fortnite with the recent v22.10 update. The Cobra DMR can be found as both floor loot and in chests, so be on the lookout for this weapon. Once found, all you have to do is deal a total of 150 damage to an opponent who is at least 75m away, so be sure to keep your distance. One kill should be enough to obtain your XP reward because the player usually averages anywhere from 100 to 200 health.
Deal Damage To Opponents with SMGs or Assault Rifles (0/1,000)
Another fairly simple quest. To obtain a large XP reward, players are tasked with dealing a total of 1,000 damage with either a submachine gun or an assault rifle. The Suppressed SMG, Rapid Fire SMG, Hammer Assualt Rifle, and Range Assualt Rifle are all viable choices for completing this quest, though damage dealt with the EvoChrome Burst Assault Rifle will also count toward your progress.
Deal Damage To Supply Llamas (0/500)
Hopefully, luck is on your side when playing Fortnite. This quest tasks players with dealing a total of 500 damage to Supply Llamas, which are the iconic pink and blue pinatas that contain heaps of materials, ammo, and healing items. Llamas can be found in random locations, and only 5 exist in a match of Battleroyale, so be on the lookout during your playthroughs. Once you find one, act fast, as a Supply Llama will flee once spooked and will disappear not too long after
Destroy Chrome Structures (0/100)
To complete this quest, players are tasked with destroying a total of 100 chrome structures, which refer to any structure that has been altered by Chrome. Chrome structures can be found in areas like Herald’s Sanctum or Lustrous Lagoon. However, players can also create chrome structures by throwing a Chrome Splash onto an existing structure.
Gain Shields From JellyFish, Shield Fish, or SlurpFish (0/200)
Time to grab your harpoon guns and fishing rods, for this quest required players to gain a total of 200 shield with either a JellyFish, Shield Fish, or SlurpFish. These three consumable items can be found in fishing pools within bodies of water, and are obtained by either a harpoon or a fishing rod. However, Shield Fish and SlurpFish can alternatively be found within Freezers.
Stage 1 of 2 – Land at The Driftwood
Heading to The Driftwood seems to be a common trend with this season’s weekly quests. This quest consists of two stages, the first being as simple as landing at The Driftwood which is the floating pirate ship that was originally found at Lustrous Lagoon. As of the release of these quests, The Driftwood can currently be found northwest of Flutter Barn, but be on the lookout as this ship will drift to other locations throughout the season,
Stage 2 of 2 – Collect 100 bars in a single match (0/100)
After landing at The Driftwood, players will then need to collect a total of 100 gold bars for that same match. Gold bars can be found in Chests, chairs and beds, Supply Drops, and also within Safes. The High-Security Vault within The Driftwood contained numerous Safes, Chests, and Supply Drops, so if you have two keys then head below deck to obtain a lot of gold bars.
Gold Bars can be used to buy weapons from Vending Machines, NPCs, and can be used to upgrade loot at Upgrade Benches
Visit the Reality Tree and Herald’s Sanctum in a single match (0/2)
To conclude this week’s quests and claim your very last supply of XP, you will need to head to both Reality Tree and Herald’s Sanctum in a single match. Both locations are relatively far away from each other, so for added convenience locating a vehicle is recommended. For those of you looking to get this quest done quickly, head to Shroom Station and locate a vehicle before taking a short drive to Reality Tree. Once you have reached the Reality Tree, head to Herald’s Sanctum to complete the quest.
Now that you know just how to complete this week’s quests, drop into Fortnite Battle Royale and obtain your rewards.
