Fortnite Hits Early Access

Epic Games have launched their third-Person Zombie title on Early Access. Available as Founders Packs on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Mac. If that wasn't enough, we now have details of the voice talent that will be appearing in the game. Scavenge, Build, Destroy and Survive the storm.

Gamers can now buy into the Early Access founders packs for Fortnite, the third-person action building game from Epic Games. The Zombie construct-athon is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac in the games Early Access phase. Epic games have previously said that they intend Fortnite to be a free-to-play, with plans to launch it in 2018.

"As we created the world of Fortnite, with its heroic moments and quirky sense of humour, we knew it would be important to have a mixture of veteran voices and exceptional new talent in order to connect the players to the game's story," said Creative Director Darren Sugg. “Just as we've built Fortnite with the players, we were honoured to have a group of amazing performers become part of our community and to help us bring this brand new world to life."

Epic have revealed some of the voice actors that are to appear in the title. Ashly Burch (Horizon: Zero Dawn, Life is Strange) stars as the voice of Ray, a quirky yet, very human, little robot that guides players through their adventures. Also making an appearance ar Amy Pemberton (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), JB Blanc (Horizon: Zero Dawn), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising, Emerald City), Andrew Kishino (Bulletstorm) and Phil LaMarr (Samurai Jack).
 
Players can register to play or purchase one of the Founders Packs from the PS Store or Xbox Marketplace for consoles.
