5 Fortnite Superhero Skins Better Than Deadpool

Fortnite was quick to bring in the Deadpool and Wolverine set to the item shop with the release of the latest blockbuster movie. While we love the new skins, let's take a trip down memory lane to see some of the best in the superhero business released to date.

5 Better Fortnite Superhero Skins than Deadpool

Although skins in Fortnite serve a purely cosmetic role, there’s no question that they can help you stand out in the battlefield and boost your confidence. Who knows, you might even intimidate your opponents into making mistakes! Few can do this job better than a good old superhero skin, and while Deadpool and Wolverine might be the trend right now, we believe we have seen better since the popular battle royale game rolled out in 2017. Without further ado, let’s dive right into it.

Venom

What better tool to scare the living daylights out of your enemies than an alien symbiote that transforms you into a giant monster? While Eddie Brock poses an intimidating figure himself, this effect multiplies manifold once you pull off the transformation emote and bring out the big guy. Sharpen your fangs and get ready to feast on the flesh of your enemies.

You can get the skin itself for a hefty fee of 2000 V-Bucks once it rolls back in the shop. Although we recommend you buy the entire Venom Bundle which for 2800 V-Bucks gets you the skin plus two tote bags (Tendrils of Venom and Tendril Tote), two pickaxes (Symbiote Scythe and Symbiote Slasher), two emotes (Venom Unleashed and We Are Venom), and an emoticon to go.

Scarlet Witch

The recent Doctor Strange movie might not have made her a fan favorite, but there’s no question that the Scarlet Witch skin is a formidable pick for your wardrobe. Slice through resources and enemies alike with the chaos radiating from your pickaxe and set the gloomy nights alight in a red haze with the dark magic emanating from your hands. If you see someone with this skin approaching you, best look for a good place to hide unless you want to be exorcised!

The skin can be purchased individually for 1500 V-Bucks, but if you decide to get the bundle for 1800 V-Bucks you get a stunning red cloak, the Chaos Hand Axe, the Psychic Energy Manipulation emote, and a highly aesthetic loading screen.

The Dark Knight

Christian Bale was arguably the best Batman to ever set foot on the big screen, and he had one hell of a suit. Fortnite managed to capture the details pretty well, complete with the sharpened bat claws infamously used to injure the Joker as well as the ever-reliable utility belt. This time, you’ll be pulling out an assault rifle from it instead of a harmless tool!

When it was available in the shop, it cost 19.99 USD as part of the Batman Caped Crusader Bundle. This came with another great batman skin titled the Comic Book Outfit, plus goodies like the comic book back bling, the Dark Knight back bling, the Batman pickaxe, and the Batwing Glider to swoop in from the winds above.

Spider-Man 2099

No superhero list is complete without the face of the genre, although this time we arrive with a slightly more modern take. Spider-Man 2099 proved to be quite a sensation in 2023 when Across the Spider-Verse rolled into cinemas. Known for his sad backstory, futuristic tech, distinctive soundtrack, and also an impressive physique, this Spider-Man variant quickly made its way into Fortnite through a much-needed collab.

The skin can be purchased individually for 1500 V-Bucks, but it also came as part of the Across the Spider-Verse bundle for 2600 V-Bucks, which we believe is one of the best bundles to ever be released in the game. This came with Miles Morales skin, Lego versions of both skins, the Spider Verse portal back bling, the 2099 Web Cape, a mallet pickaxe, and the Put er’ there emote. Call it the complete Spidey experience!

Black Widow’s Snow Suit

If you believe in the saying “simpler is better,” then Natasha Romanoff’s elegant snowsuit is the perfect match for you. Marvel’s favorite super agent (sorry Hawkeye) dons her deadly dual pistols to the sides of her white spy suit, completing the look with a pair of sturdy combat boots; you can tell that she means business. This skin is the closest one to Deadpool’s on this list, but we believe that it’s just a little bit classier.

You can get the snow suit for 1500 V-Bucks, but the complete bundle is one that you don’t want to miss out on. It comes with the Widows Fangs pickaxes approved by Stark himself, the Widow’s light back bling, and the Widowmaker glider, and it costs just 2200 V-Bucks.

So, do you agree with this list? Or do you think Deadpool still takes the prize of the best superhero skin in the game? Let us know in the comments down below.
