Genshin Impact electrified its way to the video games industry in 2020 when everyone sought solace during trying times. The game, famous for its vibrant world teeming with diverse cultures and regions, alongside accessible combat against multiple enemies at once while remaining challenging, especially in the Spiral Abyss endgame content, has become a staple in the video games industry. However, one major aspect that I feel is often overlooked is the game’s OST, as Genshin Impact, with its diverse regions, incorporates many elements of each region (Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, and Natlan currently), which I hold in high regards because not many games out there do this with their soundtracks.
And so, this list article will provide you with 10 Genshin Impact OSTs that can enrich your playlist, giving you a small journey into many aspects of the game. Let’s begin.
A mild disclaimer that the 10 OSTs included in this Genshin Impact list are not ordered, as I simply wish to show and highlight some of the best pieces of music that Hoyoverse brought forth to the fans all around the world within Genshin Impact.
The Almighty Violet Thunder
The first OST from Genshin Impact that I can recommend to everyone is The Almighty Violet Thunder, a beautiful orchestra mix that feels like a battle between oriental Japanese tunes against the steady electric guitar riffs and powerful drum lines. The Almighty Violet Thunder is a soundtrack from the Islands of the Lost and Forgotten album, the second Inazuma Chapter soundtrack album.
To hear this OST in-game, you can only hear it when challenging the End of the Oneiric Euthymia: Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto Domain, either during Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest or during the Weekly Trounce Domains. Based on Genshin Impact‘s in-game description, this domain and the OST represent Raiden Shogun’s internal battle that tears away at her, and to finally move forward in life.
Countless dreams once blew about here like petals in the wind, never to be fulfilled. This is the origin of Eternity, and it is also “her” end.
While the OST’s structure largely remains the same as its Phase One version, Thunderings of the Merciless, the addition of electric guitar riffs and heavy drums to enhance the already fantastic oriental beats is simply wonderful to hear. You can also understand the Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto’s ruthlessness and her undying resolve to stop you and Raiden Ei. Overall, this soundtrack is a fantastic tune and enjoyable Genshin Impact OST that will surely become a staple in your playlist.

Polumnia Omnia
The next soundtrack that I’d like to mention that can truly elevate your personal music playlist is Polumnia Omnia. This is a soundtrack from The Unfathomable Sand Dunes album, the second Sumeru Chapter soundtrack album. What makes this soundtrack stand out from the rest of Genshin Impact‘s OSTs is simply the emotional weight that is influencing the way this piece of music presents itself to the players.
This soundtrack brings Scaramouche’s troubled past to life with Polumnia Omnia’s rich Japanese oriental tunes and instruments. It captures his descent into darkness as he takes on the role of Shouki no Kami, the Prodigal, blending powerful orchestral elements with a deep-voiced choir. These musical layers create the feeling of Scaramouche transforming into an unstoppable dark force.
What stands out, though, is the main vocal in the choir, which many fans online believe is performed by Yu-Peng Chen himself. His heartfelt, emotional voice adds a raw intensity that contrasts beautifully with the choir’s majestic backdrop. This combination makes Scaramouche’s theme unforgettable and proves once again that Genshin Impact’s music, powered by HOYO-MiX, is in a league of its own.
If you want to listen to this OST in Genshin Impact, in that case, you can do so by challenging Joururi Workshop: Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom Domain, a tough Weekly Boss battle where you recount your final encounter against Scaramouche at the end of Sumeru’s Archon Quest line, Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises.

Termination of Desires
The next Genshin Impact OST that you can add to your personal playlist is going to be Termination of Desires, the soundtrack from Raiden Shogun’s Character Trailer, and is part of The Stellar Moments Vol. 2 album.
What makes this soundtrack fairly stand out from the other characters’ soundtracks, is the fact that the intensity of both the character trailer and its OST are fierce and work in harmony to truly flesh out Raiden Shogun as a character, even though at that time in 2021 our information regarding her is still not as many as today. You can see and hear that Raiden Shogun is an uncompromising ruler who can, will, and has cut down her enemies.
And what still amazes me to this day, even after hearing this particular soundtrack on numerous occasions, is the beat drop which perfectly captures Raiden Shogun’s moment atop her Inazuma Castle, revealing the Eye of Stormy Judgement from her Transcendence: Baleful Omen skill, and then immediately cuts to her character portrait. The sequence, paired with the beat drop, is just brilliantly done.

Eschatologia Iudicata & Silhouette of Catastrophe
The next OST in this list incorporates two soundtracks at once because I feel that each soundtrack complements the other and vice versa. They are Eschatologia Iudicata and Silhouette of Catastrophe, two soundtracks from the Pelagic Primaevality album of Fontaine Chapter.
To hear this OST in-game, you can only hear it when challenging the Shadow of Another World: All-Devouring Narwhal. You can challenge this Weekly Boss from the Fontaine’s Archon Quest line or Weekly Trounce Domains.
The behemoth that once devoured the birthing waters of the planet has departed without a single trace, but those in the know will forever live, surely, in the terrifying shadow of that omen of the end. A single shard of shattered spacetime remains in this place, and through it, you may perhaps be able to witness that titanic creature once more.
The All-Devouring Narwhal is a unique Weekly Boss since, unlike other Weekly Bosses that have the traditional different phases, All-Devouring Narwhal technically only has one phase divided into two parts. Eschatologia Iudicata, the first phase’s OST, incorporates a grandiose classical orchestra that truly highlights the massive stature of All-Devouring Narwhal and its space, while also making you feel insignificant compared to this Abyssal Beast that can simply devour you should you not be careful when fighting it.
As we head through the battle’s Phase 2, which occurs after the All-Devouring Narwhal consumes and transports us to a pocket world where we have to fight the Dark Shadow, and this time around, the soundtrack switches from classical orchestra to an alien-sounding EDM soundtrack, aptly named the Silhouette of Catastrophe. Many don’t like the idea of EDM music within Genshin Impact‘s OST landscape, but I think this type of music works well here thanks to Narwhal’s nature as an Abyssal monstrosity, which is further accentuated by Phase 2’s OST’s alien tunes and electronic beats which mimics a whale’s cries. A great and unique experience where both Phases showcase Hoyoverse’s abilities to dabble in many music genres simultaneously.

Chorus Cinericius
The next Genshin Impact OST that I’d like to highlight comes from another Weekly Boss in the game, specifically The Knave, which is accessible through the Scattered Ruins Trounce Domain, which is unlockable after you complete Into the Sunlight in Arlecchino’s Story Quest, Ignis Purgatorius Chapter: Act I – When the Hearth-Flame Goes Out. This soundtrack is a part of the Cantus Aeternus album, which contains many Fontaine OSTs after Version 4.5.
Although The Knave has two phases in her Weekly Boss challenge, I’m only going to highlight the first phase’s soundtrack on this list, Chorus Cinericius, as I think the second phase’s soundtrack falls flat and doesn’t provide a good enjoyment outside of during the battles against The Knave itself. Chorus Cinericius, however, has everything Genshin Impact has to offer in their musical department: a grand-sounding orchestra with the eerie child choirs who represent Arlecchino’s House of Hearth’s orphan soldiers, alongside the main Fatui leitmotif as part of this soundtrack, which encapsulates into a wonderful yet dark rendition of an OST, fitting for The Knave.
This OST can enrich your playlist thanks to its tune difference compared to other soundtracks I mention in this list. You can listen to Genshin Impact‘s Chorus Cinericius OST on the HOYO-MiX YouTube channel, or through the link we have provided below.
Rage Beneath the Mountains
Moving on to the next soundtrack in this list, we have Rage Beneath the Mountains, another Weekly Boss OST that you can hear during a battle against Azhdaha, located in Nantianmen, Liyue. This soundtrack is part of Genshin Impact‘s The Shimmering Voyage OST album.
What I like about this soundtrack is the rock elements that become the centerpiece of Rage Beneath the Mountains, something that I find very fitting with Azhdaha’s whole nature as the Lord of Vishaps. The way the electric guitar guides us through the soundtrack makes us feel that even without playing against Azhdaha himself, we can still sense his massive stature and power that shall not be underestimated.
And then, once we progressively reach the end of this OST, we are greeted with an oriental yet powerful Chinese choir that backdrops the rock elements, which sounds like they’re having a harmony to elevate Azhdaha’s already majestic status as the Lord of Vishaps to an even greater height. A perfect soundtrack to accompany and boost your energy while doing other tasks at hand.

Jolts in the Forest
After hearing the previous soundtracks on this list, let’s shift our attention a bit to one of the main region’s battle themes of Genshin Impact, Jolts in the Forest, which is Sumeru’s main theme when you’re entering combat in Sumeru’s open world area. This OST is part of the Forest of Jnana and Vidya album.
Jolts in the Forest is a beautiful blend of cultural influences that makes Sumeru come alive. From the bansuri’s delicate flute notes to the rhythmic tabla, it feels like the forest itself is speaking to you. The addition of instruments like the sitar and kanun makes this track a celebration of Sumeru’s diverse inspirations, painting a rich picture of its vibrant landscapes and cultures, which makes this soundtrack a must-have in your playlist.

Dance of Aphros
Moving on to the ninth selection of Top 10 Genshin Impact OST on this list, we have Dance of Aphros, a complimenting soundtrack for Eula’s character trailer available on YouTube, and has become a symbolic character theme for her. Dance of Aphros is part of The Stellar Moments Vol. 2 album.
As the soundtrack’s title suggests, Dance of Aphros is a piece of dancing music, perfect for someone such as Eula, who comes from one of Mondstadt’s noble families, the Lawrence Family, as Eula herself is an avid dancer which also bleeds into her animations. The way the guitars form a Flamenco-like rhythm throughout the soundtrack feels in sync with Eula as a character, which blends a mix of the old days and the future that she wants to see, away from her family’s dark chokehold.

Se mettre sur son trente-et-un!
And for the last soundtrack on this list, we’re going to listen to Furina’s theme, Se mettre sur son trente-et-un! from The Stellar Moments Vol. 4 album. And I have to say: I think it’s one of, if not, the best character trailer soundtrack in Genshin Impact right now.
Se mettre sur son trente-et-un! truly embodies Furina’s theatrical essence, blending grandeur and hidden sorrow. The vibrant lyrics like “Le monde est une scène” (The world is a stage) reflect Furina’s constant performance as Fontaine’s Archon. The line “Il vaut mieux rire qu’en pleurer” (Better to laugh than cry) beautifully masks her internal struggles behind a façade of joy. This song captures Furina’s longing to be human, using poetic layers to connect her act with her unspoken sadness.
The soundtrack’s intricate layering stands out, from the initial trumpet fanfare to the emotional violin solo. The seamless transition between instruments mirrors Furina’s duality—her grace and underlying vulnerability. Laure Shang’s haunting vocals deliver subtle undertones, creating a melancholic contrast against the orchestra. Details like the duet between the violin and vocals during the solo add depth, making the piece mesmerizing to fans.
If I can give one sentence for this soundtrack: this song is Furina. It captures her charm, her mystery, and her hidden sadness so perfectly. The way the music shifts from playful to emotional mirrors her personality and journey. Every note feels intentional as the HOYO-MiX team poured their hearts into telling her story through this OST. It’s not just another soundtrack—it’s one of the most emotional, layered pieces Genshin Impact has ever delivered.
