Barbara’s attire, titled “Summertime Sparkle”, will be given out as a reward for the new event “Echoing Narration“, which will likely involve the players collecting items in order to unlock the outfit.

Jean’s outfit, titled “Sea Breeze Dandelion”, is a bit of a mystery, however. Some speculate that it’ll likely be made a purchase or will have to be rolled in the game’s gacha.
If the community responds receptively to Genshin Impact‘s skins, then we can expect to see a wide variety of new costumes for other characters in the near future. Outfits are often one of the main ways a free-to-play game earns money, such as League of Legends or Fortnite. They’re also integral to many gacha games, such as Azur Lane or Arknights, which feature a plethora of skins for holidays, seasons, and events.
Genshin Impact is free-to-play on iOS, Android, PC, PS4, and PS5.
