Confirmed via a PlayStation Blog post, the Genshin Impact PS5 news was among details of the upcoming Version 1.5 update, Beneath the Light of Jadeite. The new content on offer is set to feature a wide range of new events, enemies, and characters. Players will even be invited to Teyvat, where they can set up a brand-new home for themselves. It definitely gives off a Fairy Tail–Monster Hunter vibe.
The game was released just last September, but it’s already made huge waves in the industry with a strong player base and massive cash flow. Within two months, it had grossed over $393 million. By the end of March 2021, the free-to-play RPG’s in-game sales skyrocketed to over $1 billion. A true money magnet.
Now that Genshin Impact is coming to PS5 with an abundance of additional content, are you swayed enough to give it a try and see what the fuss is about? Or have you already been a player from day one?
I don’t know about you, but I’m still waiting for a return of the Genshin Impact-KFC Crossover Event.
