Being roughly 25 minutes in length, the Animal Crossing Direct will be livestreamed via Nintendo’s Youtube channel. Airing on the 20th of February 2020, the stream will take place at 6AM Pacific Time, 9AM Eastern Time and 2PM on UK time.Â
Being exactly one month before Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s release date, and it being over 5 months since the last big chunk of news in the September 2019 Nintendo Direct’s gameplay trailer, this Animal Crossing Direct will surely have a lot to talk about.Â
Development of New Horizons was announced all the way back in September 2018, followed by a delay pushing back its initial June 2019 release date, making the anticipation all the more intense.Â
It’s already been 8 years since the release of the last main series game, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, giving social simulation game fans a Tom Nook shaped-void in their hearts for quite a while. There have been spin-off titles like Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, but it’s just not been the same.Â
With only 4 weeks to go, the long, long wait will surely be worth it.Â
