Finally listening to fan feedback, Nintendo dropped its latest Animal Crossing update in patch 1.1.4, which adjusts the rate drops for eggs until the 11th of April. On Easter Sunday itself, the 12th, egg drops will increase again for those few who are actually interested in the event, and then the eggs will at last disappear forever.
Nintendo has described the patch notes as a balance adjustment for the event. It’s without a doubt a welcome sign that the developer is constantly monitoring fan reactions to the newly-released title and the events that come with it. As long as the next event isn’t so frustratingly intrusive towards actually enjoying the game, it’s going to be a good year for Animal Crossing fans.
