After a short hiatus, I’m back with the list of the 15 most popular Villagers for February 2021 in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Every month the Animal Crossing community has a vote as to who they think the best Villagers are. Those votes are tallied, and this list is comprised of their results. Every single one could be sold on the black market for around 15 million Bells. If you own one, it’s worth considering a sale, because that’s a lot of Bells.

1) Marshal
Marshal has been a consistent member of the top three in this list since the game launched. There’s very little to hate about him. He’s a cute little squirrel who is almost always charming. He has the best outfits, with his rain attire being a particular highlight, and he has a lovely singing voice. Still, I’d sell him for the right price, I think it’s time for someone else to take the top spot.
2) Raymond
If complete heterochromia is your thing, then Raymond is the Villager for you. His eyes are just one part of why he’s so special though. He’s also a cat Villager, and as you’ll see in the rest of this list, they tend to do quite well. Plus, there’s just something about Raymond. He has that quality that you look for in a Villager. Someone who won’t cause too much fuss, but will have you thinking about them all day long.
3) Sherb
Sherb reminds me of bubblegum flavored sweets. He’s just the right shade of blue. Eating him is not an option in this game though. While you might be put off by how ditzy this guy comes across at first, his silliness will melt your heart after a while. Somehow he manages to be charming regardless of what he says. It’s a good thing too. Recently he asked me to smell him.
4) Zucker
As the first Villager that looks like food on this list, Zucker is clearly the tastiest. He’s also one of only three octopi Villagers in the game. Most players like him because he’s rare as an octopus. You can collect all three of the octopi Villagers and get them to sing like a choir. It does look a little odd when all of their footprints are scattered like tiny holes all over your beaches though.
5) Judy
This is another Villager who has been a pretty consistent part of this list from day one. Judy is renowned for having the most beautiful eyes in the Animal Crossing series. While some Villagers do borrow them for particular expressions, she’s the only one to have them 24/7. While it can be annoying when she talks about becoming famous for the hundredth time in a day, her beauty far outweighs her less appealing qualities.
6) Marina
Now we come to the second octopus Villager on this list. Marina is a much more literal reference to the ‘marine’ life that inspired her. She’s pink, and I’d go as far as saying she’s the pinkest Villager in the entire series. Her outfits are pink, even her house is pink. If you don’t like that color, you’re screwed with her around. Still, she is worth a lot.
7) Stitches
If you love a good teddy bear, then Stitches is the Villager for you, right in the middle of this most popular Villagers for February 2021 list. He’s made from all the scraps of discarded bears and seems to have been given a personality to match them. His house is a little unnerving because it looks like he’s trying to remember his past as a child’s toy. He is very endearing though, and a true asset if you’ve got him knocking around somewhere.
8) Fauna
I’m glad to see Fauna rising higher up the ranks. She’s got my most popular vote for sure. Part of what makes her great is the fact that she’ll water your garden if you’re not keeping on top of it. Outside of that though, she’s just beautiful. I love having her around because she brightens my day every time I look at her. I don’t even need to speak to her.
9) Merengue
At this point in the list, we’re onto our second edible-looking Villager. Merengue here resembles a strawberry shortcake. Honestly, I don’t think the dessert is as good as she is. Merengue has more personality than three Villagers could handle, and in my experience, a strawberry shortcake is almost always disappointing. Hang on to this one if you’ve got her, she’s special.
10) Molly
I’ve only recently become aware of Molly as a Villager. Loads of people seem to have been voting for her over the last couple of months. Now that’s partly because she’s a duck Villager, but it’s also got a little to do with her unique markings. She’s got some very cute markings across her head and arms, and you can get a good look at them when you’re playing the game on a sunny day. For that alone, she’s worth having on your island.
11) Erik
The time for Erik is over as far as I’m concerned. I think he’s a leftover on this list from when he was popular in December. While he is a deer Villager, he looks more like a moose. For Canadian players, there’s no better excuse to vote for him, which spurred everyone else to join the bandwagon. I’d say sell this guy if you have him, he’s heading down into tier 2.
12) Maple
I’d hang onto Maple if you have her. Pancake day is just around the corner, and there are very few better toppings than maple syrup. No doubt this is why she’s rising in popularity, though it could also be her generally charming demeanour too. As far as bear Villagers go, I’d definitely say she’s the cutest as well.
13) Audie
Audie is the Villager that everyone knows about, but some people are getting a bit sick of. She was a big part of the game when it launched last year, but now I think people are beginning to move on from her origin story. Still, if you like orange Villagers, she’s the best. She’s also got a great personality.
14) Dom
Dom has been sticking around in this chart for ages, though he does now look destined to leave it. He’s the perfect mascot for the game’s LGBT+ community, but until we hit Pride Month again I don’t think he’ll be around much. You never know though; if he gets a new look for the anniversary of the game he could get bumped back up.
15) Beau
Beau is the last entry on this most popular Villagers for February 2021 list. This sassy Villager drives me around the bend, and I never let him stay for too long. Getting rid of him might not be your top priority if you like deer Villagers though. My advice is to keep him on a short leash. Give him an inch and he’ll take a mile.
That’s it for the most popular Villagers for February 2021 in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Let us know if you’ve got a Villager who you think is worthy of the list for March in the comments.
