Dynasties
You’ll now be able to have Dynasties in The Sims 4 with the Royalty & Legacy Expansion Pack. These Dynasties rule with shared Values, such as being Passionate or Mysterious. Dynasties will need to build up their Prestige and maintain their Unity if they want to be the inspirational powerhouse all around.
Sims can become Head of their own Dynasty, and in turn choose an Heir or make their own members Outcasts. You’ll need to watch these Sims, as Heirs can crumble under pressure and rebellious Outcasts can cause havoc. It’s up to you how you run your Dynasty, but with great power comes great responsibility, so keep an eye on them!

A Fight for the Crown
Any world can be a kingdom, but only one can wear the crown. Who will get it? That’s down to you!
You’ll need to make decisions to win the people over, or get the approval of Nobles by throwing them beneficial choices. You can work your way up to higher titles, but watch out for rivals looking to block your progress. You can persuade them to Abdicate, engage in Duels of Swordsmanship, or expose Scandals.
Look out for Powershifts taken straight out of classic fairytales, like kissing a frog, dancing in glass slippers, and claiming a mythical sword in your quest to rule.
A Dynasty must work hard to establish themselves and take their place on the throne.
Scandals That Can Destroy Everything
Keep an eye out for Scandals such as affairs and secret children. They can derail everything you’ve worked so hard for! Exposed Scandals can negatively affect relationships, careers, Prestige, and Noble Favor. You can resolve Scandals with apologies, atonement, waiting it out, or simply denying everything.

Ondarion, the Royal New World
With powerful Dynasties fighting over the crown comes a brand-new world, Ondarion. This place is full of rich history, complex relationships between Dynasties, and opulence and culture. Sims can reside in beautiful palaces, attend Grand Balls, and practice the craft of Swordfighting.
Ondarion is made up of 3 different neighborhoods: Dambele, Verdemar, and Bellacorde. Each of these neighborhoods has its own Nobles, and the throne of Ondarion is free to take – but who will it be?
