As the May/June "Lights Out" season comes to a close, The Sims 4 July-September roadmap is already being teased. The new upcoming season, titled "Rise and Shine", is sure to bring some new content to The Sims 4, including some Kits, a base game update, and an Expansion Pack.

The Sims 4 July-September Roadmap Teased

A teaser has just been put out for The Sims 4 July-September roadmap, which will lay out the next season for the game. The current season for The Sims 4, “Lights Out”, is now drawing to a close. Set in May and June, two Kits were released, Moonlight Chic and Little Campers, plus a Game Pack, The Sims 4 Werewolves. It’s been a pretty good season, but with June almost over and all the content teased in the roadmap now released, it’s coming to an end. That means the next season is up, and it has just been teased on social media.

Since this is a teaser and not yet the official reveal, the details are a bit vague, but we can guess from the 10-second teaser what we can expect. Last season, the theme was “Lights Out”, with the new DLC being centered around night-life, whether it was kids having fun in the backyard at night, going out at night in slick going-out wear, or becoming werewolves under a full moon. For this new season, the theme appears to be “Rise and Shine“.

This could mean a lot of things. Until the roadmap has been officially revealed, speculation is the only option. A few things are for sure, though. First of all, the new season is set between July and September, which covers three months of new content being released, while last season spanned two. The other thing is that it’s revealed what type of content players can expect. The teaser specifically reveals that The Sims 4 will soon be getting two new Kits, one presumably with new clothing and the other adding new build content. With the “Rise and Shine” season, there will also be a base game update, which means more free new content coming to the game. The final reveal was the fact that a new Expansion Pack is on the way. This particular tease should come as good news for many players of The Sims 4. There hasn’t been a new Expansion since Cottage Living last year.

As of yet, it’s not known exactly what new content The Sims 4 will be getting, but this teaser alone should get players excited. An official reveal of the July-September “Rise and Shine” roadmap should be out very soon, if this teaser is being promoted.

What do you think this teaser for The Sims 4 July-September roadmap is hinting at? What content do you think The Sims 4 will be getting next? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
