The new season for The Sims 4 hasn’t been going for long, but the first two of the four Kits are arriving very soon, and these have been revealed as Greenhouse Haven and Basement Treasures. These are both Build Kits and will be released together on April 20th. These Kits are available on all platforms for The Sims 4, including PC, Mac, Xbox consoles, and PlayStation consoles.
The ‘Take Me Home’ roadmap revealed that between April and June 2023, four new Kits will be arriving for The Sims 4, plus a big update. The roadmap reveal gave hints as to what these Kits could potentially be, and now we know what two of the four Kits are. Both of these Kits follow the theme of the ‘Take Me Home’ season, providing a place of sanctuary for your Sims at their homes.
The Sims 4 Greenhouse Haven Kit will allow you to construct a greenhouse for your Sims, a place where they can relax and enjoy some peace, and admire their plants. The plant-themed Kit was hinted at in the roadmap teaser, showing a potted plant atop a cardboard box, along with a trowel. With Greenhouse Haven, you can build greenhouses with matching glass paned windows and doors, and fit them out with starter seedlings, stacks of plant pots, a table for planting, hanging flower baskets, and more.
The Sims 4 Basement Treasures Kit allows you to deck out your Sims’ basements with well-loved and well-worn items, the sort of stuff your Sims might stow away in their basement over the years. Such items include old chairs and couches, a milk crate of vinyl records, old trophies, family photos, worn trunks, and even an old-fashioned still-functioning TV.
There’s still more to come of the ‘Take Me Home’ season, with two more Kits yet to come, plus an update for the base game.
