If you admire the loft apartments that are popular in places like Brooklyn, New York, then you’ll love what the new Kit Pack for The Sims 4 has to offer. The Sims 4: Industrial Loft Kit has just been announced by EA, and will allow you to design your own loft apartments. The newest Kit Pack comes with oversized windows, furniture made of wood and steel, and metallic piping and vents. Industrial Loft Kit has been inspired by the converted warehouses in Brooklyn, New York, and the contents of this pack will be sure to help you recreate that modern, edgy look.

This will be the fifth Kit Pack released for The Sims 4. Kit Packs are small packs that add some new content to the game, such as new objects, clothes, or even gameplay. They are the smallest kind of pack available, after Stuff Packs. Kit Packs were first introduced for The Sims 4 earlier this year, starting with Bust the Dust Kit, Throwback Fit Kit, and Country Kitchen Kit. The fourth Kit Pack, Courtyard Oasis Kit, was released a little later.

Loft apartments have been increasingly popular over the past years. They were initially popular with artists who wanted somewhere with low rent and large spaces to work. Now, it seems like everyone wants to live in such a space, with lofts being seen as trendy. Many former places of industrial business such as warehouses have been expertly converted into residential housing. Lofts typically have big open spaces and high ceilings, with the building’s original design and layout left desirably untouched. Instead of covering up brick walls, these would be left intact. Also left in place would be features such as piping, columns, joists, and beams. This added ruggedness leftover from the building’s original state is popular with the new owners.

In other news for The Sims 4, a new patch has just dropped, adding a new item to the game. A new painting is now available to purchase from Buy Mode, Hair Vision by artist Ohni Isle. Recently, real-life artists have had their work added to The Sims 4 to place in your Sims’ homes and such. Additionally, the patch has addressed an issue where Sims would jump between floors when traveling up and down stairs.

Your Sims can now live in lush edgy loft apartments with the new Industrial Loft Kit Pack.

The Sims 4: Industrial Loft Kit comes out August 26th for PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PS4, with backward compatibility for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
