It’s not been long since The Sims 4 Blooming Rooms Kit came out, but already there’s another Kit Pack coming out. The Sims 4 Modern Menswear Kit has been announced, set to be released December 2 on PC, Mac, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PS4/5.
Modern Menswear was previously hinted at, described as “Defying Boundaries”, which is the aim for this Kit Pack. It will bring new clothes for your Sims, specifically men, in the style of London contemporary fashion. It will be the fourth and final Kit Pack released as part of Season of Selves, a fall/winter roadmap for The Sims 4. Modern Menswear will follow an international clothes theme, after the release of Incheon Arrivals and Fashion Street. Incheon Arrivals had celebrity-airport fashions from South Korea, while Fashion Street featured trendy authentic Indian fashions from the titular location in Mumbai.
To make Modern Menswear, the creators behind The Sims worked with the British Fashion Council, a non-profit organization that supports British talent and businesses – setting out to strengthen the presence of British fashion around the world. The Sims is all about inclusivity and self-expression, which players can showcase through the characters they create. Modern Menswear aims to achieve that goal with its range of up-and-coming fashion.
The Sims collaborated with high-end London fashion designer Stefan Cooke, whose label is named after him, and his partner Jake Burt, to recreate Cooke’s fashions in Modern Menswear. They redevelop and redefine old traditional fashions to create a modern contemporary look. Their style is designed to be a mixture of masculine and feminine, reaching out to a broad audience that has something for everyone. With Modern Menswear, players can expect to get new jackets, trousers, jumpers, suits, and shoes. The purpose of Cooke’s designs is to encourage people to explore fashion and not be afraid to try out new styles and feel comfortable with what they wear.
