The Sims 4‘s Season of Love has only just begun, and already new content is being added in to coincide with the theme of this season. As discussed in the roadmap announcement, it seems that swimming pools are getting an update through new content – starting with a Sims Express Delivery that arrived in the base game today. An Express Delivery is like a minor update that mainly adds new objects or clothing, which is for the base game and completely free. In this case, Sims are getting a few more options regarding swimwear.
What’s In the Latest Sims Express Delivery?
We’ve had lots of these Express Deliveries in the past, so what’s new with this one? This time, new swimwear has been added. More specifically, they’re mainly reskins of existing swimwear clothing, but we do get lots more options regarding patterns and colors to give your Sim that fun, colorful look when they dive into the pool. There are new items available for toddlers, children, and teens and older. There’s something for everyone (except Infants, who can’t yet swim).
This minor update adding new swimwear seems quite specific, as if we’re expecting even more content coming to The Sims 4 soon, in the shape of new Kits and an Expansion.
The Sims 4 Blooming Rooms Kit Is Currently Free
Now and again, certain packs for The Sims 4 becomes available for free for a period of time. We’ve previously seen this with Backyard Stuff, My First Pet Stuff, and Romantic Garden Stuff. Now, it’s the turn of a Kit, Blooming Rooms. The Sims 4 Blooming Rooms Kit adds a host of potted and hanging plants to adorn your Sims’ homes with. Kits normally cost $4.99, so if you don’t yet have this Kit, now is a good time to get it before the offer expires.
However, this special offer for The Sims 4 Blooming Rooms Kit is only available for PC and Mac via the EA App and Origin. This offer of getting the Kit for free doesn’t apply to the PlayStation and Xbox ports, or even Epic Games Store and Steam.
