The Sims 4 My First Pet Stuff Pack is currently available for free via the EA App, Origin, and Steam. Normally priced at the usual Stuff Pack price of $10, for a limited time, you can get My First Pet Stuff for absolutely nothing. Sales are common with The Sims 4 packs, but it’s not often that you can save 100% on a pack. If you have yet to get yourself this pack, now is a good time while the sale lasts. The offer expires on January 9th, 2024, so you have plenty of time to grab it. It seems that only PC and Mac players can get My First Pet Stuff for free, and this offer doesn’t apply to the Xbox and PlayStation ports of the pack. The Sims 4 packs via Epic Games Store are also not a part of this offer.
What Is The Sims 4 My First Pet Stuff?
My First Pet Stuff is not a new or recent Stuff Pack for The Sims 4, releasing in March 2018. This Stuff Pack is unique, the reason being that in order to get full advantage of My First Pet Stuff, you need to have The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack in order to use all the items available. You can buy and download the Stuff Pack without Cats & Dogs, but you won’t be able to use certain items, such as the pet bowls and beds. This was the first – and so far only – pack of any kind in the history of The Sims that required another DLC in order to fully function.
My First Pet Stuff Pack is essentially an extension of the Cats & Dogs Expansion, adding some extra items alongside the existing Cats & Dogs items. These include extra furniture and decor as part of the children’s pet-themed items. With My First Pet Stuff, there are also additional pet items, such as pet bowls, beds, and cat towers. There are some bonus Create-A-Sim items as well, for both Sims and pets to wear.
However, My First Pet Stuff isn’t just bonus Cats & Dogs stuff. With this pack, you get extra small pets to take care of, including hamsters, rats, hedgehogs, and the fictional bubalus. These are kept in the brand-new rodent habitat.

It’s not just My First Pet Stuff that you can get on discount. While none of the other packs are on offer for free, there are plenty of Expansions, Game Packs, and Stuff Packs that you can grab at reduced prices, thanks to the Black Friday sale that is underway. These include the more recent releases such as The Sims 4 Growing Together Expansion and The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion. As it’s still fairly new, The Sims 4 Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack is not included in the sales. You don’t have as long to take advantage of these discounted prices though.
