Events Announced for The Sims 4 as a New Feature

The Sims 4 has been evolving since its release in 2014, and that’s not including the many packs. A new feature has dawned on The Sims 4, in the form of Events. These are a limited-time experience that focuses around a fun theme, and by completing them, you get free rewards, as well as new gameplay opportunities.

The first such Event that has already arrived in The Sims 4 is “The Happy at Home Login Event”. This is a very easy Event to complete, where all you have to do is log into the game’s Main Menu for a limited time. With this Event, you’ll get a host of new items to create that comfortable hangout space, somewhere your Sims can work on their skills via the brand-new Practice Makes Perfect trait.

Players should look out for more Events such as the one described above. These will bring more rewards, more new gameplay, more content, and more new experiences. There may even be quests for players to complete! Events are noted to be designed to fit the current season of The Sims 4, be that this season’s Season of Love. With an Expansion Pack set to be released sometime this summer, it seems likely that future Events will be based on this new romantic-themed pack. As well as this, Events may also follow the theme of any calendar occasions or other themes.

Events start as of now on May 30th, 2024, and will be available for The Sims 4 base game across all platforms, including PC, Mac, Xbox, PlayStation, and Epic Games Store.

Taking part in Events in The Sims 4 can unlock some special rewards, such as a dartboard and vending machine.
