November saw the biggest patch fixes for The Sims 4, and now another one is on the way. In Early December, a new patch is set to land in The Sims 4, bringing with it several bug fixes for the base game and several DLC including Expansions and Stuff Packs. A laundry list has been released before the arrival of this patch to gear players up to see exactly what is going to be fix. Let’s look at everything that will be addressed according to the laundry list.

1. Top 5 Fixes Most Voted for by the Community
- Children and older Sims should no longer have clothing visible under their privacy pixel blur patch.
- Sims should be able to travel between worlds or lots without the Seasons screen appearing.
- Male Sims in the Gallery should no longer have high pitched voices, instead using their correct voice tone. May only apply to future saves.
- Instance of Save Corruption resulting in Error code: 123:b378c837 should be fixed. This save had a Sim who was dead, a ghost, and min LOD (not actively engaged with by the player), causing coding around Small Business careers to crash the game upon loading. From now on, a Sim referred to in this situation shouldn’t crash the game when loading.
- This one is still work-in-progress, but Children shouldn’t be taken away when they are not being neglected.
2. The Sims 4 Base Game Fixes
- The Nature Soundscapes radio station should no longer wake Sims who are listening to it while sleeping.
- Teens should keep their current Aspiration (except for Teen Aspirations) when aging up into a Young Adult.
- Regarding the Mental Fog moodlet, it should now have been reworked so that it appears after 3-4 days of using the Work Hard action at an off-screen career, instead of 1-2 days.
- 9 base game Comfort objects have been given 3 new color swatches.
- The Main Menu should no longer show “WWWWWW” when no active household is displayed.
- Sims should be able to change into outfits in front of Toddlers.
- An issue should have been fixed regarding Moodlet and Quirk notifications for Young Adults.
- Texture issues with the IndustryMatters Brick Facade with Wood Trim wall pattern has been fixed, notably when applied to wall corners for two color swatches.
- Sims should no longer get a Fear of Horses if players don’t own the Horse Ranch Expansion.
- Good and Evil Sims should no longer mourn excessively at gravestones.
Scared of horses, even though technically none are around? There’s a fix for that!
3. Expansion Pack Fixes
Adventure Awaits
- Now when you load a premade Custom Venue, you should see the correct schedules and gameplay.
- cfTop_EP20PulloverLayered should now be tagged as Masculine.
- All Toddler and Child hairstyles from Adventure Awaits should be visible if you remove the Masculine/Feminine filters.
- The Gran Gran’s Flannel Curtain rods should now use the same shader.
- The ymTop_EP20FleeceCurve should have the fashion choice tags added.
Businesses & Hobbies
- The Stucko’s Top Stucco wall pattern should now fully extend to the floor when applied.
- A missing purple swatch has been added to 8 doors and windows from Businesses & Hobbies.
Cats & Dogs
- A situation should have been fixed where it seemed you couldn’t have more than 7 Sims in a household due to an Adopt a Cat background story arc.
- A pet should less frequently explore the PooHoo Bush, reducing it to every 3 days.
- Sims should no longer get a text from their pet about missing curfew.
Your pets should stop bugging you about missed curfews.
City Living
- Sims in the Social Media career should now automatically meet their coworkers for certain work tasks. Only applies to new saves.
Cottage Living
- Shadow added to the Cottage Living pack icon.
For Rent
- Lines should no longer appear on Sims’ arms while wearing either the yfTop_EP15StackedPocketShirt or ymTop_EP15StackedPocketShirt if nails are applied.
Get Famous
- The interaction “Attend Drama Club” should now be available as a self-interaction and on other household members when a Teen has reached max level in the Drama Club and left for rehearsal. Available for 90 seconds (in-game) to give time to select it.
High School Years
- The Corndog food item should no longer use a block model (invisible) to fix the issue of not appearing in preview UI images.
Life & Death
- House Parties and Spooky Parties should now count towards the “I want to throw the most bizarre costume party of all time!” Bucket List goal.
- Ghosts should no longer appear as regular, living Sims while in the Reaper career collecting souls.
- The Mentor Coworker interaction should be available on a co-worker while they are performing “Practice Reaping” on the training dummy.
- The interaction “Ingest Ambrosia” should now be available to Ghosts when Ambrosia is made by Sims from another household. This previously prevented Sims in the Reaper career from eating Ambrosia.
Seasons
- Children and Teens should now be able to donate via the computer when enrolled as Scouts.
Some problems should be resolved with the Reaper career.
4. Game Pack Fixes
My Wedding Stories
- The interaction “Exchange Vows” should have been fixed so it doesn’t become greyed out on the wedding arch even though Sims are present for the ceremony.
Realm of Magic
- All swatches should display the logo of the bottle correctly on the Classic Apothecary Cabinet.
Vampires
- Non-Vampire Sims should no longer autonomously eat Plasma Fruit Salad.
Stop eating my fruit salad – you don’t need to eat plasma if you’re not a vampire!
5. Stuff Pack Fixes
Paranormal Stuff
- The emotions Terrified and Scared should now be available in Sim Stats.
6. Kit Fixes
Autumn Apparel
- Fingernails should no longer clip through the yfAcc_GlovesSP69Leather glove accessory.
Greenhouse Haven
- The AirCycler fan should no longer disappear when viewed from another floor than the floor the player is currently on.
The new gloves are great – so long as you don’t have nails underneath them.
7. Multiple DLC
- An instance of Save Corruption resulting in Error Code 109:4fe45107:239aa048 should have been fixed.
- An issue should have been fixed causing sand sculptures to appear on beaches with lots of rain. This issue still occurs with the weather machine, but this will be fixed in a future update.
- Gates with lanterns should now have the lanterns light up the area around them.
- Sims who dislike Mischief and Singing should no longer autonomously do mischievous actions or sing.
- The work computers at the police station, Foxbury Commons, and other locations should now be fixable after breaking.
- An issue should have been fixed with temporary stays where certain Sims couldn’t be invited to stay over from a Residential Rental.
8. Planned Fixes for January 2026 Update
- Makeup category for Toddlers currently requires custom content to appear.
- Server error when uploading to Gallery or Library is still getting worked on.
- The main cause behind Sims standing around instead of caring for Infants and Toddlers has been identified and will hopefully be addressed in a fix soon.
- Missing Sim’s images from Memorial Portraits and Graduation Photos is getting progress in receiving a future fix.
- Looking into an issue with Sims not staying in the work rabbit hole when working as employees for an open Small Business when loading a save.
- Working on an issue regarding Sims using objects obsessively.
Photos provide a unique touch to any occasion – at least when they show up.
9. Reporting Other Issues
This should cover every fix being applied to the latest patch in The Sims 4. Players who are experiencing issues in their game should always report it so it can be fixed in a future update. They can do this by posting their issue on the EA Forums under The Sims 4.
