Complete all the tasks in the quests for Week 2 of The Sims 4 Lost Legacies Event so you can unlock all of the rewards. The Sims 4 Lost Legacies Event Week 2 Guide (All Quest Tasks & Rewards)

Week 2 of The Sims 4 Lost Legacies Event has arrived, bringing with it two brand-new quests: Drama Life and Sound of Emotions. These quests get your Sims investigating the Capp family, with a series of tasks centered around romance and playing music. Both quests don’t take long to complete, and all the tasks are straightforward to do.

We’ll take you through every task in each quest to ensure that you unlock all the rewards available in Week 2, and so that you’re ready for the next quests in Week 3 of the Lost Legacies Event.

In Week 2, there are no optional tasks requiring additional DLC of The Sims 4 to access. However, one reward task is exclusively available with The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack.

1. All Rewards in Week 2 of Lost Legacies Event

A total of 7 rewards are up for grabs in Week 2 of The Sims 4 Lost Legacies Event, including an extra one if you own The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion. To unlock all these rewards, you must complete the tasks in the quests and claim the rewards in the Event Screen.

  • Elegant and Old Tarnished Key (Inventory/Build Mode) – Event Collectible
  • 5,000 Simoleons – Added to Household Funds
  • Capp Library Bookcase (Build Mode) – Door that looks like a bookcase on one side. Does not include bookcase interactions. Only functions as a door.
  • The Capp Family Key (Inventory/Build Mode) – Event Collectible
  • Piano Skill Book Vol. 1 (Inventory)
  • Embroidered Duchy Saddle (Create-A-Sim) – Only available with The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion
  • Antique Jeweled Ring (Create-A-Sim)

2. Drama Life Quest Walkthrough

The first quest in Week 2 of the Lost Legacies Event is Drama Life. After speaking to the Royal Envoy, you simply need to complete a series of easy tasks. These can be quickly done to move onto the second quest and earn points to unlock some rewards.

To start the Drama Life quest, load your household, wait a few second with Live Mode playing, and the pop-up will appear.

2.1. Ask the Envoy About the Capp Family

The first step is speaking to the Royal Envoy, specifically the social Ask About the Capp Family. The Envoy should be hanging out in your home neighborhood during this quest.

To locate them, click on the task in the list, or use Focus Camera or Lock Camera on their profile in the Relationship panel. If they’re not currently in the neighborhood, select your Sim and use the self interaction Call Royal Envoy to Current Lot to summon them.

Completing this task unlocks the next (and final) three.

Locate Envoy.

If you’re having trouble locating the Envoy for certain tasks, use the Focus/Lock Camera trick.

2.2. How to Search the Internet About the Capp Family

This task requires access to a computer. You can travel to a library such as Willow Creek Archive if you don’t own one. Select a computer and choose Search for Capp Family Info. Doing this reveals the themes for this week’s quests: romance and the piano.

Computer Research.

A quick search on the computer reveals more about the Capp family and this week’s quests.

2.3. Flirt With Another Sim 3 Times

For this task, you need to use Flirt interactions with another Sim 3 separate times. These can be found under Romance > Flirt. Some of the other socials found under the other Romance options may count as well.

You can complete Flirt socials with a partner or another Sim. If you want the interactions to be successful, you may need to build Friendship first before trying more romantic options.

Flirting.

All the flirting socials are found under its own menu, but other romance interactions might work, too.

2.4. Watch the Romance Channel

Locate a television (or buy one if you don’t currently own one), select it and choose Watch Channel > Watch Romance. You’ll need to wait a few seconds while your Sim watches the TV to mark it as complete.

Once the 3 tasks have been done, the Drama Life quest will be completed. You need to wait a few seconds (with Live Mode unpaused) for the next quest, Sound of Emotions, to start.

Watch Romance.

Give your Sim a few seconds to watch the romance channel to make the task count.

3. Sound of Emotions Quest Walkthrough

The second quest of Week 2 of the Lost Legacies Event in The Sims 4 focuses on playing the piano. You’ll also pay a visit to the nightclub in Willow Creek.

3.1. Tell the Royal Envoy About Romance and Music

The quest again starts with speaking to the Royal Envoy. Locate them and use the interaction Discuss Romance and Music.

Discuss Romance and Music.

The Envoy doesn’t usually stray far from your location during the quests.

3.2. How to Practice the Piano

The discussion with the Envoy leads to them suggesting you play some romantic music, specifically a piano. You’ll need to find or buy one and then practice playing it.

If you just have The Sims 4 base game, you have access to only one piano: Tickle My Ivories Grand Piano, which costs §1,415 and also needs plenty of space to place. If you can’t afford this, don’t have room for it, or simply don’t want to buy it, you can head over to The Blue Velvet Nightclub in Willow Creek and play the piano there. The next task also requires you to travel there, so this will save you time (and money).

Practice Piano.

Just let your Sim practice on any piano for this task.

If you want to buy a piano, the options available depend on which packs you have installed:

  • DigiRAD Keyboard – §945 (City Living Expansion)
  • San Sequoia Classic Upright Piano – §1,300 (Growing Together Expansion)
  • Chestnut Saloon Upright Piano – §1,300 (Horse Ranch Expansion)
  • Get Down Up Right Piano – §1,350 (Businesses & Hobbies Expansion)

There’s also the Swooning Grand Piano from The Sims 4 base game, but this is only available at Level 7 of the Entertainer career in the Musician branch.

Piano Build Mode.

Owning more packs gives you more choices in pianos.

3.3. Travel to The Blue Velvet Nightclub

The quest continues at The Blue Velvet Nightclub in Willow Creek. In the world map, it is located in Crawdad Quarter, between the museum and the gym.

To get to the nightclub, take these steps:

  1. Open your Sim’s phone and select Travel.
  2. Enter Willow Creek in the world map.
  3. Select The Blue Velvet Nightclub.
  4. Choose Confirm to travel to the nightclub.
Nightclub World Map.

The Blue Velvet Nightclub is located in Willow Creek’s commercial district.

3.4. Chat to the Envoy at the Nightclub

Shortly after arriving at The Blue Velvet Nightclub, wait for the Royal Envoy to appear nearby and use the option Chat on them. They should arrive after a few seconds of you getting there. If not, you can summon them with the self interaction.

Envoy Nightclub.

The Envoy arrives at the nightclub shortly after you do.

3.5. How to Play Music at the Nightclub

For this task, you need to play some music at the nightclub. More specifically, you need to play the piano. It’s in the corner not far from the bar. Select any of the play options on the piano. After playing for a bit, the task will be done.

Piano Nightclub.

Head to the piano at the nightclub to complete this task.

3.6. Where to Find the Fireplace at the Nightclub

You next need to investigate the fireplace at the nightclub. It’s on the ground floor across the room from the piano on the far side. Select it and choose Search Fireplace.

3.7. Travel Home to Complete Quest

To wrap up the second quest and Week 2 of the Lost Legacies Event in The Sims 4, you just need to send your Sim home. There are a few easy options to do this:

  • The self interaction Go Home.
  • The Go Home button on your Sim’s portrait.
  • Using Travel on your Sim’s phone and selecting the home lot.
Go Home.

Head home to end the quest.

4. Week 3 Release Date and Time

That concludes Week 2 of the Lost Legacies Event in The Sims 4. You are now officially halfway through the Event. The Week 3 quests, Pirate Princess and The Pirate’s Treasure, will become available Tuesday February 17 at 9am PST, with more tasks to complete and more rewards to unlock.
