1. Tips for Completing Nature Nomad Aspiration
These tips will help make completing Nature Nomad more efficient and enjoyable. The second stage requires high Natural Living, so early preparation is key.
- Start building the Natural Living Skill early. You’ll need Level 9 to finish one task.
- Use the Loves Outdoors Trait. Most tasks take place outside, and this Trait helps keep your Sim Happy.
- Grow at least one plant on your home lot. A harvestable plant is required for one of the early objectives.
2. Self-Sufficient Sim Milestone Walkthrough
The first stage is beginner-friendly, but sets the foundation for the more demanding tasks in the next milestone. Here’s how to complete each objective.
How to Catch a Fish
Send your Sim to any fishing spot or pond and select the Go Fishing interaction. No Fishing Skill or Natural Living Skill is required. One fish is enough to complete this task.
Fishing spots are found in Innisgreen (Sprucederry Grove and Coast of Adhmor) and base game worlds like Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, and Newcrest. If your Sim gives up without a catch, try again or move to a new location.
Keep fishing until you catch a fish.
How to Harvest a Plant on a Sim’s Home Lot
Your Sim must harvest any plant growing on their home lot. Follow these steps:
- Get a plant by purchasing seeds, foraging, or harvesting wild plants.
- Plant it on the ground or in a pot or planter box.
- Water, weed, and protect the plant until it’s ready to harvest.
- Use the Harvest interaction once available to complete the task.
Foraging is one way to find free plants.
Fairies and Gardening
Fairy Sims can use Nature Abilities to speed up plant growth. These cost Emotional Force and 1 Ability Point each:
- Nurture Nature (Faint Fairy Rank 1) – Waters, weeds, and sprays plants.
- Enchant Plants (Faint Fairy Rank 1) – Protects plants and keeps them watered and weeded. Also helps them grow faster.
- Growth Eruption (Glimmering Fairy Rank 3) – Makes plants instantly Mature.
- Bloom Plant (Brilliant Fairy Rank 4) – Makes Mature plants instantly harvestable.

Your Sim must perform the Forage for Food interaction five times. This requires Level 2 Natural Living.
- Click on dirt, grass, or sand surfaces (not stone or metal).

3. Natural Living Expert Milestone Walkthrough
This second stage demands high levels in the Natural Living Skill. The tasks reflect your Sim’s mastery of outdoor survival and comfort.
How to Sleep Soundly Outdoors on the Ground
Once your Sim reaches Level 6 Natural Living, they can use Sleep Here on the ground and gain Energy without Uncomfortable Moodlets.
Have your Sim sleep on the ground three separate times.
Sims with high Natural Living will wake up happy after sleeping on the floor.
How to Talk to Nature With Level 9 Natural Living
At Level 5 Natural Living, your Sim can use Talk to Nature on any plant. Once you reach Level 9, perform this interaction three times — it can be on the same plant or different ones.
Although Talk to Nature is unlocked earlier, at Level 9 Natural Living, your Sim gains more Social from this interaction.
How to Comfortably Bathe in Open Water
Find any swimmable water, such as ponds, lakes, rivers, or oceans. At Level 5 Natural Living, your Sim will gain Hygiene faster and avoid negative Moodlets while bathing.
Perform the Bathe in Water interaction three times, each time without receiving a negative Moodlet. This completes the requirement.
You can bathe in any swimmable water, so long as the water is at the right depth.
4. Rewards for Completing Nature Nomad Aspiration
Once all tasks are completed, your Sim unlocks the Nature’s Best Bud reward trait. This trait grants:
- Balance gain from performing Natural Living activities, helping resist Ailments.
- More Fun, Social, and Relationship gain from interacting with the Garden Pal.
