Fairy Aspirations are a major part of The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature, offering two advanced Aspirations once you’ve completed Fairy Stories: the Harmonious Fairy Aspiration and the Discordant Fairy Aspiration. Each of these has unique tasks and reward traits. This guide explains how to unlock both Aspirations, what Fairy Abilities you need, and how to complete every task step-by-step to earn all rewards.
1. How to Unlock Harmonious and Discordant Fairy Aspirations
When selecting an Aspiration in Create-A-Sim or Live Mode, you’ll only see Fairy Stories listed at first. To unlock the other two Aspirations—Harmonious Fairy and Discordant Fairy—you must complete the entire Fairy Stories Aspiration.
Once completed, you’ll be prompted to choose either the Harmonious or Discordant path. You can freely switch between the two at any time via the Aspiration panel.
After completing Fairy Stories, you must choose a new Fairy Aspiration for your Sim.
2. How to Complete Harmonious Fairy Aspiration
To complete the Harmonious Fairy Aspiration, you must first unlock the following Fairy Abilities from the Fairy Tree:
- Cure or Apply Ailment (Faint Fairy Rank 1 – Manipulation)
- Growth Eruption (Glimmering Fairy Rank 3 – Nature)
- Nurture Nature (Faint Fairy Rank 1 – Nature)
Make sure you have enough points to purchase the required Fairy Abilities.
How to Cure 3 Sims Using the Cure Ailment Ability
Use the Cure function of the Cure or Apply Ailment Ability to heal three Sims. This task only counts if you use the Fairy Ability and not a potion from the Apothecary Table.
- Select a Sim with an Ailment or first use Apply Ailment to inflict one.
- Then select Fairy > Cure Ailment on that Sim.
- Repeat this process on three different Sims.

How to Use Growth Eruption Fairy Ability
Growth Eruption instantly matures nearby plants. Use it three times while standing near planted crops or flowers. This Ability requires a nearly full Emotional Force meter.
- Stand near growing plants.
- Select your Sim and choose Fairy > Growth Eruption.
- Repeat this three times total.
Growth Eruption is useful for gardening, but magically draining for Fairies.
How to Use Nurture Nature Fairy Ability
Nurture Nature waters, weeds, and sprays plants for bugs all at once. You must use it three times on any plants. If the Ability is greyed out, regenerate Emotional Force.
- Select any plant.
- Choose Fairy > Nurture Nature.
- Repeat until you’ve used it three times.
Nurture Nature has to be applied to plants individually.
3. Reward for Completing Harmonious Fairy Aspiration
Completing all tasks unlocks the Happily Harmonious reward trait, which grants the following effects:
- Increased Relationship and Fun when interacting with other Fairies.
- Gain Fun from using abilities like Cure Ailment, Growth Eruption, Bloom Plant, and Influence Relationship positively.
4. How to Complete Discordant Fairy Aspiration
To complete the Discordant Fairy Aspiration, unlock these Fairy Abilities from the Fairy Tree:
- Cure or Apply Ailment (Faint Fairy Rank 1 – Manipulation)
- Shift Another’s Luck (Glimmering Fairy Rank 3 – Manipulation)
- Manipulate Object (Brilliant Fairy Rank 4 – Manipulation)
Make sure you have the right Fairy Abilities needed to complete Discordant Fairy.
How to Apply Ailments to 3 Sims
Use Apply Ailment on three different Sims. This can be used on any Sim regardless of occult status.
- Select the Sim and choose Fairy > Apply Ailment.
- Select any Ailment from the list.
- Repeat three times with different Sims.
When inflicting an Ailment, you must choose the Ailment for the target Sim.
How to Use Shift Luck Ability 3 Times
Shift Another’s Luck lets you improve or worsen another Sim’s fortune. It doesn’t matter whether you increase or decrease their Luck.
- Select a Sim and choose Fairy > Shift Luck.
- Choose Increase Luck or Decrease Luck.
- Repeat on three Sims.
You can worsen or improve a Sim’s Luck with the Shift Luck Ability.
How to Use Manipulate Object Fairy Ability
Use Manipulate Object on the same or different objects three times. This Ability changes the state of objects and includes the following outcomes:
- Burned / Unburned
- Broken / Repaired
- Dirty / Clean
Use it to trigger repairs or break items for Handiness Skill training.
Manipulate Object can have several positive uses.
How to Trigger Fear of Magic in The Sims 4
Use mischievous Fairy Abilities to trigger the Fear of Magic trait in a non-occult Sim. This task is chance-based, but these tips will help:
- Use Apply Ailment, Absorb Emotion, or Decrease Luck.
- Target non-Fairy Sims, especially Children or Teens.
- Try on Sims with negative moods like Embarrassed or Scared.
- Visit community lots to find more Sims to target.
This Sim now has a Fear of Magic.
5. Reward for Completing Discordant Fairy Aspiration
Upon completion, your Sim unlocks the Delightfully Discordant reward trait. This provides:
- Gain Balance and Fun from the following Fairy Abilities:

- Project Negative Emotion

6. How to Rank Up and Earn Points for Fairy Abilities
To unlock more Fairy Abilities, earn points and rank up through performing actions. The five ranks are:
- Faint
- Glowing
- Glimmering
- Brilliant
- Radiant
To earn points:
- Use any Fairy Ability like Absorb Emotion, Manipulate Object, or Shift Luck.
- Use Instantly Fly Here to travel quickly without cost.
- Use Nature-based Abilities like Nurture Nature and Growth Eruption.
Absorb Emotion restores Emotional Force and earns some Fairy Experience, at the possible cost of a relationship.
7. How to Get More Emotional Force
Emotional Force fuels all Fairy Abilities. Here are ways to regenerate it:
- Use the Fairy House to rest and regenerate Emotional Force.
- Use the self-interaction Regenerate Emotional Force (costs 5 Fairy Dust).
- Absorb Emotions from Sims (not available if Sim is Bored, Dazed, or Uncomfortable).
- Consume an Emotion Stone.
- Unlock passive Abilities that regenerate Emotional Force over time.
With Fairy Houses, your Sim can completely restore their Emotional Force.
8. Tips to Complete Fairy Aspirations Faster
- Use the same Sim for both Aspirations to save time and Ability Points.
- Focus on one Fairy path at a time, but switch when one is complete.
- Regenerate Emotional Force often using Fairy House or Emotion Stones.
