The Sims 4 Forever Friends Event - Week 4 Guide (All Quest Tasks & Rewards)

The Forever Friends Event in The Sims 4 concludes in Week 4 with the final two quests: Gone but Never Forgotten and Always With Me, Always With You. This last chapter completes your Sim’s story with their stuffed companion through simple, heartfelt tasks that unlock the remaining event rewards. This guide covers every quest step, including the optional objectives exclusive to the Growing Together Expansion Pack.

1. All Rewards for Forever Friends Week 4

In The Sims 4 Forever Friends Event’s final week, you can unlock 8 exclusive rewards. These are the last collectibles, outfits, and potions you can claim before the event ends:

  • Brindleton Bay Magnet Collectible – Added to your Inventory. Also purchasable in Build Mode under Decorations > Misc.
  • Latest Fashion Jumpsuit – Available in Create-A-Sim under Teen or older feminine outfits.
  • San Myshuno Magnet Collectible – Added to Inventory or purchasable in Build Mode. This is the final Magnet Collectible.
  • Active Imagination Trait – A lifestyle trait available in Create-A-Sim or with the Re-Trait Potion. Sims performing creative tasks build creative skills faster but may become overwhelmed.
  • Pixel Friends Pyjamas – Available in Create-A-Sim for Child Sims under Outfits.
  • Want Refresher Potion – Refreshes current Wants, generating new ones instantly.
  • 1,000 Satisfaction Points – Spend these in the Rewards Store to purchase new potions or traits.
  • Re-Traiting Potion – Drink this to completely change your Sim’s traits.

2. How to Complete “Gone but Never Forgotten” Quest

The first quest of Week 4 sends your Sim to Sylvan Glade in Willow Creek for one final adventure with their stuffed animal companion. There are no optional tasks in this quest, and all objectives are simple to complete.

How to Pick Up the Stuffed Animal

Select the stuffed animal and choose Put in Inventory, or drag it directly into your Inventory window.

Put in Inventory.

It’s time for one more adventure with your stuffed animal.

How to Return to Sylvan Glade

If your Sim has already unlocked Sylvan Glade, travel to Foundry Cove and select the tree that leads to it. Choose Travel to Sylvan Glade and then select Confirm to go there.

Travel to Glade.

It’s time to go back to Sylvan Glade.

How to Place a Stuffed Animal in Sylvan Glade

Once you arrive, open your Inventory and select the stuffed animal, then choose Place in World.

Place in World.

Once you place your stuffed friend in the Sylvan Glade, you can have some fun one last time.

How to Play With a Stuffed Animal

After placing the stuffed animal, click it and select Play.

Play.

There’s plenty of time for one more play session.

How to Tell Stories to a Stuffed Animal

Select the stuffed animal again, then choose Talk > Tell Story to complete this objective.

Tell Stories.

There’s also time for more storytelling.

How to Take an Imaginative Photo of the Stuffed Animal

Select the stuffed animal and choose Take an Imaginative Photo. Only one photo is required to finish this step.

Take Photo.

Take some final photos of your stuffed friend; you’ll need them later!

How to Hug the Stuffed Animal One Last Time

Click the stuffed animal and select Hug [Stuffed Animal Name] to trigger the final interaction in this quest.

Hug.

Just one last hug.

How to Return Home

Before leaving Sylvan Glade, place the stuffed animal back into your Inventory. Then select your Sim and choose Go Home, or use the Home button near their profile. This completes the Gone but Never Forgotten quest.

Go Home.

Play time can’t last forever. Sadly, it’s time to go home.

3. How to Complete “Always With Me, Always With You” Quest

This is the final quest in the Forever Friends Event. It includes a mix of main and optional tasks — the latter require the Growing Together Expansion Pack. Complete all optional tasks first, as they will disappear if the main tasks are finished too early. You’ll also need photos taken during the Forever Friends Event; if you deleted them, new ones will work.

How to Tell a Sim About Your Adventures

Click any other Sim and choose Tell About Adventures.

Talk about Adventures.

Lots has happened in the last few weeks. Why not tell someone about it?

How to Watch TV Without a Stuffed Animal Nearby

Place a TV on your home lot and ensure a stuffed animal is on the same lot but not near the TV. Then select the TV and choose Watch TV to complete this step.

Watch TV.

It’s the watching TV task again… minus your old friend.

How to Have Three or More Photos in the Modern Photo Frame

Use your Modern Photo Frame from Week 2 or purchase one from Build Mode > Decorations > Misc. Then:

  1. Select the frame and choose Manage Photo Inventory.
  2. From your Sim’s Inventory, drag at least three photos into the frame’s storage.
  3. Once three or more photos are uploaded, the task completes.

How to Go to School

This objective unlocks only after the photo frame task. Have your Child Sim attend school (Monday–Friday, 8am–3pm). The task completes when they return home. Alternatively, an older Sim returning from work also fulfills this requirement.

Optional: How to Buy a Treehouse

This optional task requires The Sims 4 Growing Together. Enter Build Mode and go to Activities & Skills > Outdoor Activities. Purchase the Timber! Treehouse Base for 1,200 Simoleons. It occupies a 9×9 area, so ensure enough space outdoors. Once placed, the task is complete.

Optional: How to Build a Treehouse

Only Teen Sims or older can initiate Build Treehouse. Child Sims can participate using Join Building Treehouse to raise their Mental Skill. Construction takes several hours, but progress can be resumed anytime. Once complete, the objective finishes.

Optional: How to Play Pretend in a Treehouse

After finishing construction, select the built treehouse and choose Play Pretend. Any of the five available pretend options will complete this task once your Sim finishes playing.

Play Pretend.

With the treehouse finished, now you can play in it.

How to Play with the Toybox Without a Stuffed Animal Nearby

Ensure a toybox is present on the home lot and the stuffed animal is somewhere else on the lot but not nearby. Select the toybox and choose Play with Toy. Pick any toy from the list; when your Sim starts playing, the task completes. If it doesn’t register, move the stuffed animal to another room and retry.

Completing all objectives ends the Always With Me, Always With You quest and officially concludes the Forever Friends Event in The Sims 4.

Play with Toy.

Playing without the stuffed friend nearby sure is strange, but your Sim will be fine.

4. Forever Friends Event End Date and Final Notes

After finishing Gone but Never Forgotten and Always With Me, Always With You, your Sim’s journey with their stuffed companion comes to a warm close. All quests and rewards are now complete. If you haven’t started or finished the event yet, there’s still time — the Forever Friends Event officially ends on November 4th at 10am PDT / 6pm BST. Make sure to claim all your rewards before it expires.
