Week 3 of The Sims 4 Forever Friends Event brings two new quests: Desperate Measures and The Lens of Memories. These are the shortest quests so far in the event, meaning you will be able to complete them quickly to unlock your rewards. To complete the optional tasks this week, you will need the brand-new Expansion Pack Adventure Awaits.
1. All Rewards for Forever Friends Week 3
During Week 3 of the Forever Friends Event, you can unlock 6 unique rewards from completing quest tasks. You must claim them in the Event Screen to access them from either Create-A-Sim, Build Mode, or your Sim’s personal Inventory. Use the Event Rewards filter to easily locate new items.
- Bright ‘n’ Bouncy Bunny Nightlight – Located under Decorations and Lighting in Build Mode for §30.
- Sulani Magnet – Collectible added to Inventory. Can also purchase in Build Mode under Decorations > Misc for §50.
- Trailblazer Hiking Boots – Found in Create-A-Sim for Teens and older.
- Sleep Replacement Potion – Added to Sim’s Inventory. Completely fills Energy meter.
- Flex & Form Leggings – Found in Create-A-Sim under Accessories > Leggings for feminine Teens and older. Matches Flex & Form Tank Top.
- 500 Satisfaction Points

- These new hiking boots are perfect for excursions in Gibbi Point and beyond.

- The Flex & Form Pants can be found in Accessories > Leggings.

- You unlock a new nightlight in Week 3.

2. How to Complete “Desperate Measures” Quest
Desperate Measures is the first quest of Week 3 of the Forever Friends Event in The Sims 4. It only contains 4 simple tasks that can be completed quickly. This quest does not contain any optional tasks requiring additional DLC.
How to Ask an Adult for Help with the Broken Lens
Playing as a Child Sim, select any Young Adult or older Sim and choose Ask for Help with the Broken Lens.
During Week 2, the camera lens broke. Now you need to find out why.
How to Read a Book About Magic Photo Lenses
Select any bookcase and choose Read ‘Magic Photo Lenses’. You can buy your own bookcase if you don’t own one, or head to a public lot such as a library.

How to Check Kids’ Chatroom on a Computer
There’s no specially-marked Forever Friends interaction for this task. Simply select any computer and choose Chat in Kids’ Chatroom if you are playing as a Child Sim. For Teens or older, select Chat on a computer.
Consult with other Sims online to find out what’s going on.
How to Tell the Stuffed Animal About Your Findings
This is the final task of the Desperate Measures quest, appearing after completing the other three tasks. Select any stuffed animal and choose Tell About Your Findings.
With the investigation done, let your stuffed animal friend know about your findings.
3. How to Complete “The Lens of Memories” Quest
The Lens of Memories quest continues immediately after Desperate Measures. This quest contains two optional tasks that require The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack to be installed.
How to Tell a Sim About Watching TV, Playing Games, and Your Adventures
The first set of tasks involves telling another Sim about what you’ve been up to with your stuffed animal. You must complete the following interactions with another Sim:
- Tell About Watching TV
- Tell About Playing Games
- Tell About Adventures
It’s time to let other Sims know about your adventures with your stuffed friend.
Optional: How to Build a BamCo Playground Piece
This task is only available if you have The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack. Make sure to complete this task before other quest tasks or you will lose your chance.
You can purchase BamCo Playground Pieces from Build Mode under Outdoor Activities or Kids’ Activities. There are a wide variety of pieces available. For this task, you can do any of the following:
- Purchase a Modular Playground set, which is a combination of several BamCo PlayGround Pieces.
- Purchase a BamCo Playground Swing or Slide.
- Build your own BamCo Playground set with the pieces available.
If you don’t want to build a whole playground from scratch, buy a modular set or just a swing or slide.
Optional: How to Play on the Playground
Once you have built a playground or piece, you then need to play on it. You can do this by selecting the piece and choosing Play on Playground.
Rain or shine, try out your new playground.
This is the final task of The Lens of Memories quest and also for Forever Friends Event Week 3. Make sure to complete any optional tasks before doing this one. This task unlocks after completing the 3 “Tell a Sim About…” Tasks.
For this task, you just need to select a stuffed animal and choose Tell a Story.
Simply tell your stuffed animal friend a story and you’re done with Week 3.
4. Forever Friends Week 4 Quests and Release Date
Week 4 will include the final two quests for the Forever Friends Event in The Sims 4: Gone but Never Forgotten and Always with Me, Always with You. Both quests will become available on Tuesday 14th October from 9am PT.
