The end has finally come for The Sims 4 Cozy Celebrations Event, with the finale coming packaged with the sixth and final quest. You might think that being the final quest, this is going to be the toughest. It isn’t. Just like all the other quests before it, the last Cozy Celebrations quest is nice and easy, meaning you can wrap it up fairly quickly and unlock those final rewards. Without further ado, let’s crack on and see what the final quest in The Sims 4 Cozy Celebrations Event has in store.

The Holiday Spirit Quest Walkthrough
Total Quest Event Points: 200
Being the very last quest in The Sims 4 Cozy Celebrations Event, you’re probably curious about what the last set of tasks are. You’ll be pleased to know that just because this is the finale, the tasks haven’t been made any more difficult than previous ones. This should be straightforward to complete, especially if you have a multi-Sim household. If not, you can gather some friends around to your Sim’s place. You’ll also need to purchase previously-unlocked quest rewards from Buy/Build Mode to complete the tasks, if you haven’t bought them yet already.
With this in mind, let’s look into exactly what you need to do to finish the Cozy Celebrations Event and get those last two rewards.
Watch Channels on the Festive Frame TV
Event Points: 30
Your Sims have watched TV before as part of one of the quests. This task though is quite specific. You need to watch any TV channel on the Festive Frame TV, a reward object you unlocked during the third quest of the Cozy Celebrations Event.
If you don’t yet have the TV, purchase it from Buy/Build Mode. It costs §3,150, so it’s not cheap. It can also only be placed on a wall. Once you have the TV, select it and choose one of the channels to watch. Any of them, it doesn’t matter. Get your Sim watching it. You can get other Sims to join in, but one Sim is enough to fulfil the task. Let your Sim watch the TV for a few moments and it’ll be crossed off the list.
- Choose any TV channel you want to watch.
- Your Sim can watch TV alone or with others to complete the task.
Have Sims Play Multiplayer Game Together
Event Points: 45
It’s time for more fun with electronics! This time, you’ll need to get a video games console and have your Sims playing together.
If you remember back to the fourth quest of the Cozy Celebrations Event, you unlocked the Super Dream Cube as a reward object. This is a fully-functional gaming console. You’ll be familiar with these if you’ve played the ones that come with The Sims 4 City Living Expansion Pack. Purchase the Super Dream Cube if you haven’t already. It costs §400, not quite as expensive as the TV. Make sure you place it near the Festive Frame TV, or any TV.
Select the console and choose Play Multiplayer Game (not Play Online). You should have at least Party Frenzy available, but you’ll have more depending on your Sim’s Video Gaming skill. Once you’ve chosen the game, choose the Sims you want to play with. You need to have Sims either in your household or visiting your Lot for this to work. You can have up to 3 Sims. Make sure they have somewhere to sit! They’ll gather around the TV, pick up a controller, and start playing. You just need to play for a few moments for the task to be satisfied.
- Select Play Multiplayer Game, then select the Sims to play together…
- …and have fun!
Prepare a Hot Cocoa
Event Points: 45
Remember that Cozy Hot Cocoa Tray you got for free in the last update for The Sims 4? You need it for this particular task! If you don’t yet have it, you can find it in Buy/Build Mode. It’s §100, which isn’t bad.
Select the tray, then choose how you would like to stock it. You have a lot of options. You can stock the tray with the following:
- Hot Cocoa (§90)
- Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows (§120)
- Peppermint Hot Cocoa (§120)
- Spiced Hot Cocoa (§120)
- Vegan Hot Cocoa (§90)
- Vegan Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows (§120)
Note that most of the stocking options cost §120. Only plain Hot Cocoa and Vegan Hot Cocoa costs §90. Choose wisely! Your Sim will add your chosen hot drink onto the tray, with six mugs in total. If you change your mind, you’ll need to clear all the mugs individually before restocking.
You only need to stock the hot cocoa tray to fulfil the task. Once it’s ready to be served, you can take a mug either by selecting the tray, or selecting one of the individual mugs. Also, hovering over the mugs displays their information, just like all food and drink in The Sims 4. You can also put the tray into your Sim’s Inventory.
- Stock the Hot Cocoa Tray with any cocoa you like.
- Enjoy a toasty drink!
Document the Research
Event Points: 30
Now this task should be familiar, if you’ve completed the previous Cozy Celebrations quests. Now your Sim has finished all the festivities that comes with the event, it’s time to document everything they’ve done. Find a computer and select Document the Research. It should appear on the first set of options as a standalone action. It will also have Jasmine’s Cozy Celebrations icon next to it to make sure you don’t miss it. Send your Sim to the computer and they will get to work. It’ll take them a little while, but it’ll soon be done.
Event Points: 30
Don’t leave the computer just yet! You’re almost done… but not quite. There’s just one final task to do to wrap up not just this quest, but the entire Cozy Celebrations Event. Staying on the computer after documenting the research, you need to now share your discoveries with Jasmine Holiday. Like before, this is a solo action not tucked away in a sub-menu, appearing with Jasmine’s icon. Again, this will take a moment, but once it’s done, it’s done!
The Holiday Spirit Quest Conclusion
That’s it! The Cozy Celebrations Event in The Sims 4 is now officially over! You’ve successfully celebrated the festive activities set for you in the game, and now you can enjoy the rewards you unlocked along the way, plus some new ones gained from this last quest.
Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 6 Rewards
Since this is the very last quest in the event, surely there are some good rewards to take away? Well, yes, there is! There are only two, one being a Create-A-Sim item, but the other is a unique trait only available by completing this event. Let’s see what they both are:
- Grouch Trait: You know the Grinch? This trait is essentially what this trait is. No, it doesn’t turn your Sim into a green hairy being, like the real Grinch. It does, however, allow any Sim assigned with this trait to revel in the misery of other Sims, especially when they are directly the cause for their misery. Why don’t you try it out with one of your Sims?
- Cozy Neck Scarf (Create-A-Sim): This is a fashion accessory that can be applied to your Sim, found under the Necklaces filter in Create-A-Sim. It’s very cozy, not to mention fetching, coming in a few cheery swatches that is sure to keep your Sim warm in the cold festive season. This scarf can be worn with any top, but it does complement the Ugly Jolly Jumper that you unlocked in the fifth Cozy Celebrations quest.
- This scarf…
- …will keep your Sim cozy!
Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 6 Conclusion
Well, that’s pretty much everything! There’s not really anything else to say except that hopefully you enjoyed completing this event. You’ve at least unlocked some free festive goodies to add to your game. The event and these rewards should hopefully help you get into the spirit of the season. If you haven’t yet finished the Cozy Celebrations Event in The Sims 4, remember that you’ve got until January 10th 2025, so you’ve got plenty of time yet. Happy Holidays!
