This is another straightforward and quick quest, with easy tasks to complete. To make sure you miss nothing, be sure to read our walkthrough and find out what rewards you can get in quest four.

The Rhythm of the Festivities Quest Walkthrough
Total Quest Event Points: 100
This quest is no different to the previous three quests in the Cozy Celebrations Event. This quest comes with four tasks that are very easy to complete and shouldn’t take any time at all. You will need access to a computer and a stereo in which you can change the radio stations, just to give you a heads-up.
You might recall from the signing-off message from Jasmine Holiday in quest 3 that she talked about stereos and musical instruments. You will need a stereo – but you won’t be needing any musical instruments. At least not in this quest!
Research About Holiday Traditions on the Web
Event Points: 30
It’s time to do some research again! This task directs you to any computer. Select one and the Research About Holiday Traditions action should appear on the first set of options. Your Sim will spend some time on the PC, no longer than an hour, and this task will be satisfied once the completion bar hits the end. The research reiterates the key aspects of all holiday traditions: the gathering of close family and friends, traditional food and drink, and festive music.
Document the Research
Event Points: 30
Now you’ve done the research, it’s time to let Jasmine Holiday know by documenting it. This task has appeared previously. As a reminder, you need to go back onto a computer and use the Document the Research interaction. That makes the research part of this quest done!
Talk About Holiday Songs
Event Points: 30
The fourth quest focuses on music during the festive time of year. To start you off, you need to Talk About Holiday Songs with two Sims. Once you’ve done this with the second Sim, the task will be checked off, leading to the fourth and final one.
Listen to Winter Holiday Radio Station
Event Points: 30
To finish off the fourth quest of the Cozy Celebrations Event, you need to find yourself a stereo. You can buy one in Buy/Build Mode, or play one at another residential or commercial property. You need to have the radio playing on the Winter Holiday station. The Winter Holiday radio station is available as part of The Sims 4 base game, so you don’t need to have any particular packs installed to access it.
There are two ways to get the Winter Holiday station playing on any radio. You can either Turn On any stereo, or use the Listen To option. The Sims 4 base game alone has 16 different radio stations available, including Winter Holiday. When you either select Turn On or Listen To on a stereo, it’ll come up with a menu of all available stations, listed in alphabetical order. Winter Holiday should be on the last set of stations when browsing through the menu. When you locate Winter Holiday, simply select it from the menu and the station will begin to play a random song from its selection. If your Sim chose Listen To, they will actively listen to the music.
Your Sim can use the Listen to Winter Holiday interaction, but even just being within the vicinity of the stereo playing this station has this task being marked as done.
- You can Turn On a radio…
- …and then select Winter Holiday from the list.
- Or you can use Listen To instead…
- …and select Winter Holiday through there.
The Rhythm of the Festivities Quest Conclusion
That another Cozy Celebrations quest in the bag! Just two more to go! In her send-off statement, Jasmine mentions that the fifth quest is the final one containing research. Who knows what she has planned next time? More cooking and drinking? More conversing? More music? We’ll have to wait and see! For now, enjoy your newly-earned rewards.
Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 4 Rewards
In this quest for The Sims 4 Cozy Celebrations, we get not one, not two, but three rewards. These are in the form of two objects and a new clothing item. Let’s take a better look at them:
- Feet Friend Slippers (Create-A-Sim): These fabulous woolly slippers are similar to the ones we got with The Sims 4 Sweet Slumber Party Kit. These slippers will look superb on any Sim’s feet during the cold-yet-cozy season. They come in a few swatches, including animal ones such as crocodile, dinosaur, and panda.
- Super Dream Cube (Electronics > TVs): If you and your Sims are into gaming, including during the cozy season, then you’ll love this reward. A brand-new gaming console! Well, it doesn’t look brand-new, but it is wonderfully retro, and there’s nothing better than playing some old games on a classic console, whether alone or with friends and family. This cube-like console comes in a few different colors. The price tag on this retro console is §400, not too painful.
- Cozy Freezer Bunny Wreath (Sim’s Inventory and Decorations): Guess what? You’ve got yourself another wreath! This is the third one we’ve got already, but they are at least distinctive, not to mention cool. This one is decorated with baubles, ribbons, berries, and of course, freezer bunnies! It still only has one color swatch though, but never mind. This wreath is a little more expensive than the previously-unlocked ones, costing §200.
Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 4 Conclusion
That’s it for another quest. With just two more left to go, we don’t know what the final set of tasks will be, but all this research into different festive traditions will surely pay off. Plus, we’ve still got more rewards to get! Quest 5 and 6 will release in the same week; quest 5 on Tuesday 17th December from 8am PST, and finally quest 6 on Friday 20th December, also from 8am PST.

How to listen to the winter holiday station? The option is not showing for me on a stereo. I tried literally every one.
