The Sims 4 Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 3 Guide

The Sims 4 Cozy Celebrations Event continues with quest 3, which is what this guide covers. In part 3, your Sim won't just be doing some more cooking, but they'll also be dabbling in making drinks and spending time with others watching some TV. This quest's rewards include another new wreath and a framed TV.

The Sims 4 Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 3 Guide

The Sims 4 Cozy Celebrations Event has now reached its halfway point, with the third of six quests being released. This is another quick and easy quest that only has three tasks to complete, giving you two new rewards. To make sure you get all the tasks done and unlock the rewards available in this quest, you can read this guide.

We also have guides to the first two quests in the Cozy Celebrations Event, which you can check out:

A Sweet Memory Quest Walkthrough

Total Quest Event Points: 100

Just like the first two quest in The Sims 4‘s Cozy Celebrations Event, the third quest only has three tasks. These are straightforward enough, but there are one or two requirements for completing them. This walkthrough will show you all the tasks and exactly what you need to do to get them done to earn those next set of rewards.

Prepare a Traditional Coquito

Event Points: 60

If you worked through quest 2, you might remember at the end Jasmine Holiday mentioning something about your Sims working on their Mixology skill. That comes into play in the very first task of quest 3. You’re asked to make up a drink of Coquito.

You’ll need two things to complete this task. One is access to a bar. You can find one at a few commercial venues, or even another Sim’s house. Or, you can just buy your own. They’re not ridiculously expensive. If you don’t have room indoors to place one, just put it somewhere outside. You may only need it for this one task, so you can always sell it after you’ve finished if you don’t want to keep it.

The other thing you’ll need to make Coquito is level 2 Mixology. Gaining your Sim’s Mixology skill to this level doesn’t take long at all. You can set your Sim to Practice Making Drinks, or have them serve up some level 1 drinks. Reading a volume 1 Mixology skill book works as well. Before you know it, your Sim will hit level 2 and the ability to make a glass of Coquito will be theirs.

As soon as this drink has been prepared, the task will be ticked off the list.

Cook Some Chocolate Chip Cookies

Event Points: 45

The second task in the third quest of the Cozy Celebrations Event has you doing some more cooking, just like in the first two quests. This time, you’ll be asked to make a plate of Chocolate Chip Cookies, a dessert plate available for level 3 Cooking skill Sims or above.

If your Sim isn’t a level 3 chef yet, then don’t worry as it doesn’t take long to get them trained up. Your Sim can read volume 1 of the Cooking skill book, or watch the cooking TV channel. The best way to build a Sim’s Cooking skill though is by actually doing it. Get your Sims cooking in the kitchen, making any recipes you wish. Your Sim will become a level 3 chef in no time.

You’ll also need to make sure your Sim has the right equipment needed to make the cookies. They’ll need a refrigerator, countertop, and stovetop oven.

Once your Sim is skilled enough, get them baking those Chocolate Chip Cookies. They don’t take long at all to make. As soon as they’re fresh out of the oven, this task will be completed.

Have Sims Watch TV Together

Event Points: 45

This task becomes available after you’ve rustled up a plate of Chocolate Chip Cookies. For the third and final task of the third quest of the Cozy Celebrations Event, you just need to get your Sims sat down together in front of a TV and watching it.

If your Sims don’t have a TV yet, get one. It doesn’t have to be one of the more expensive ones. You don’t necessarily need any seating either, such as sofas and chairs. Your Sims can just stand around and watch the TV. Get one of your Sims to turn the TV on. Just use Watch TV for now. Then get some other Sims to join them. Even just one or two other Sims will be enough. You can manually make other Sims go and watch the already-on TV if you’re playing in a multi-Sim household, or your Sim can invite others to join them.

The moment they gather around the TV set, this task will be marked as completed.

Have one of your Sims use the Watch TV interaction, then get other Sims to join them.

A Sweet Memory Quest Conclusion

That’s another quest done for the Cozy Celebrations Event in The Sims 4. You did some more cooking, even tried out some drinks mixing, and shared a moment with others watching some good-old TV. Interestingly, Jasmine Holiday’s parting message for this quest mentions getting a stereo and musical instruments. This could be a hint for what’s to come in the fourth Cozy Celebrations Event quest, so be prepared!

Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 3 Rewards

Just like quests 1 and 2, by completing quest 3, you can unlock two more Cozy Celebrations items. This time, you get a new wreath, plus a new TV! Let’s take a better look at them:

  • Cozy Floral Wreath: This is just like the wreath you earned from completing quest 1, but with a different design. This one is decorated with silver baubles and beautiful red poinsettias. This wreath doesn’t come with multiple swatches, just the one color scheme and design. This wreath costs §180, but you should get one placed in your Sim’s Inventory upon unlocking it.
  • The Festive Frame TV: If you own The Sims 4 Modern Luxe Kit, you might be familiar with the TV disguised as a stylish framed painting. This is exactly what this object is, except this one comes with four different festive pictures and multiple frame colors. Like the welcome mat you unlock in quest 2, this TV doesn’t just have Christmas designs, but also fall ones. This TV is quite pricey at §3,150.

Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 3 Conclusion

That just about wraps up the third Cozy Celebrations Event quest in The Sims 4. Stay tuned for the fourth quest, which will release on Friday at 8am PST.
