It feels like yesterday that the first quest of the Cozy Celebrations Event in The Sims 4 was released, and yet the second quest has already been made available. Exploring New Perspectives Quest Walkthrough

It’s not a lie that this second quest in the Cozy Celebrations Event is just as easy, if not more so, than the first. Anyhow, here’s a walkthrough of quest 2 of The Sims 4‘s Cozy Celebrations Event.
Cook Brigadeiro
Event Points: 45
The first step is to whip up a plate of Brigadeiro, which is a dessert dish. You’ll need a fridge, countertop, stove, and at least level 2 Cooking skill to make this dish. It’s quick to make, and as soon as it’s finished, you’ll complete this task.
Select either the fridge or stove and choose Cook. Even at a lower Cooking skill, there are a lot of recipes presented to you. Don’t be daunted, as there are a few ways to locate Brigadeiro more easily. As it’s a level 2 recipe, in the initial loaded-up list, just scroll down to the level 2 Cooking skill recipes and you should find it there. You can also list the recipes alphabetically by selecting the Name tab and finding Brigadeiro under B. Another option is to filter the recipes under Desserts, where you’ll find Brigadeiro there.
This scrumptious-looking dish requires Cooking skill level 2 before your Sim can make it.
Have a Nice Chat about Holiday Traditions
Event Points: 30
This is another nice easy task. You simply need to chat with other Sims about their holiday traditions. More specifically, you need to do this with 3 other Sims. The interaction Have a Nice Chat about Holiday Traditions should appear when you first select a Sim. If you haven’t met them before, you’ll need to introduce yourself before this interaction appears. The Sims you speak to will have some interesting info to share about their holiday traditions, such as listening to the Winter Holiday radio station or eating different food.
Once you’ve used this interaction on a third Sim, it’ll be done.
You’ll need to chat about holiday traditions with 3 Sims to mark the task as completed.
Document the Research
Event Points: 30
Your third and final step in this quest is to document the research you’ve made for Jasmine Holiday, who is in charge of the event. You simply need to find a free computer and use the interaction Document the Research. Like the quest’s social interactions, this should appear straight away and with Jasmine’s event symbol next to it. Wait for your Sim to do what they need to do on the computer, and then this task is done.
There have been reports of this task becoming unavailable after completing the first two in this quest. If the option Document the Research doesn’t appear on a computer in your game of The Sims 4, try the following:
- Save your game, exit, then reload the save and try the action again.
- If you’re attempting this task with one Sim and it isn’t working, try it with another Sim (if you have more than one Sim who is a child or older in your household).
- Unlock the computer for all Sims to use, if you have the computer settings locked for certain Sims.
- Go to a different location where there’s a computer. For example, when doing this task, I used the computer at the high school in the principal’s office.

And that’s it! No, really, that is it. If you’ve previously done the Reaper’s Rewards Event, these tasks will probably seem very simple in comparison. But that’s not such a bad thing, is it? At least it’s nothing too taxing, and you can get them done nice and quickly. Plus, you’ve earned yourself two new rewards in this quest. Don’t forget that this is only the second quest for the Cozy Celebrations Event. There are still four more after this one!
There is something to take away from the end of the second quest though. It does mention to keep up with working on the Cooking skill, and even trying out the Mixology skill. It may not hurt to bump up your Sim’s Cooking to the next level, 3, and begin working on the Mixology skill, getting it to at least level 2. You don’t know what might be in store for the next set of quests!
Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 2 Rewards
Quest 2 might have been short and sweet, but that doesn’t mean you don’t get rewarded for your work. Like the first quest in the Cozy Celebrations Event, you can unlock two new festive rewards. Let’s take a look at what they are:
- Slick Panel Jacket (Create-A-Sim): This cool-looking jacket is ideal for those harsh cold winters and comes in various swatches.
- Festive Feeling Welcome Mat (Decorations > Rugs): Make any home feel welcome, homely, and not forgetting festive with this exclusive welcome mat. It costs just §50 and comes in 8 sweet swatches. Not just Christmas ones either, but also fall designs.
This is a nice-looking mat, and you don’t just get Christmas-themed designs either.
Cozy Celebrations Event Quest 2 Conclusion
That’s it for this quest. It’s nice, quick, and easy, so you can get it done, and you get some sweet new rewards. This Cozy Celebrations quest might have been short and sweet, but there’s plenty more to do in this event yet!
