CD PROJEKT RED has been in hot fire this year because of the various delays of their game Cyberpunk 2077. But that doesn’t mean that the developers have stopped caring about their player base altogether. The official Twitter account of Cyberpunk 2077 has posted a tweet recently that they will include an option to disable copyrighted music so that the streamers won’t have to deal with copyright strikes or claims. Here’s the tweet:
Worried about copyright issues when streaming or recording #Cyberpunk2077? Don’t be!
We’ve prepared a feature for all of the content creators: “Disable Copyrighted Music”. Just toggle it on and you’ll be ready to go!

As streaming platforms like YouTube and Twitch became stricter with how copyrighted items are used by streamers, this option right here is godsent for content creators as it will be one less thing they have to worry about.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been under fire for being delayed a couple of times. A lot of the people that were excited about the game have flamed the developers with some of them even sending death threats. The developers have responded to this by asking for “basic human decency”, saying that they’re just people like us. The threats appear to have subsided and it seems like this time, there won’t be any delays anymore. Hopefully.
