Cyberpunk 2077: Next Night City Wire To Feature Keanu Reeves' Character, Music, and More

The official Twitter account for Cyberpunk 2077 has unveiled details on the next Night City Wire, which will showcase the breathtaking character Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, John Wick) plays, Johnny Silverhand, along with the game’s music and “a lot more.” It will stream on November 19 at 6 p.m. CET.

During last year’s Xbox conference during E3, a trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 was shown. In the end, the world got to see the reveal of Johnny Silverhand, followed by Reeves coming on stage to unveil the first initial release date. Since then, the game has faced several delays, with the latest pushing it to December 10.

The character, whose birth name was Robert John Under, is a prominent figure in this universe. A singer for a rock band called Samurai, a U.S. military veteran, and rebel with his own agenda, as we will uncover in the upcoming RPG. For players, he will be a guide and a major part of the story. Maybe in the upcoming event, we will get more of a glimpse at his motivations for partnering with V, the protagonist who you will be playing.

Regarding the music, we have already gotten multiple looks behind the scenes at how the studio composed the tunes that will fuel our experience once we get our hands on the anticipated game. One video had multiple artists speak on the experience. The other came from a previous Night City Wire, where we got an in-depth look at the process behind recording Johnny’s discography.

What do you think of the details we will be getting on Keanu Reeves’ character in the next Night City Wire for Cyberpunk 2077? Will you be interested in seeing more of the music? What other information do you hope to see? Let us know all of your thoughts on this story in the comments.
