Cyberpunk 2077 Reveals PC System Requirements

CD Projekt Red revealed the PC system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077, and it's not too demanding. If you have an SSD, it is recommended, but you will need to have 70 GB free. Other than that, even on low settings with the right setup could get you playing at 1080p with a satisfying framerate.

Cyberpunk 2077 Reveals PC System Requirements

CD Projekt Red revealed the PC system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 yesterday (September 19) during the third episode of Night City Wire.

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows 7 or 10, 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 470
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 70 GB HDD, SSD recommended

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows 10, 64-bit 
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
  • Memory: 12GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 Fury
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 70 GB SSD

The Polish studio gave extra details regarding what you can expect, depending on your setup. If you don’t have the best PC, those minimum requirements are with low settings in mind while the recommended is for high settings. We aren’t sure what it will take to get that fancy 4K resolution or find the balance of higher resolution and higher framerate.

The PC system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 are not too bad, except for 70 GB on your SSD, if you have one. Overall, a strict budget could still get you a rig that could run the game reasonably well, at least based on what CD Projekt has told us. We will only know once PC players can play and see if the open-world RPG is optimized well enough.

During the third episode of Night City Wire, we got to see some new trailers, giving us a deeper look into Night City and its gangs.
