Cyberpunk 2077 – Twitter account awakes after a few years

CD Project RED released mysterious post on official Twitter account of Cyberpunk 2077 - the thing is that the previous one was far in 2013. Is there anything that The Witcher series developers are trying to tell us and the five years silence is going to end soon?

Cyberpunk 2077 – Twitter account awakes after a few years
Since the title reveal and the first trailer of Cyberpunk 2077 that has been released almost five years ago, CD Project RED went silent and focused on delivering the last part of the already existing trilogy which was, of course, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Any other piece of information about the futuristic open-world RPG from Polish developer may be still treated as rumour. The situation was made worse by the fact that some anonymous sources claimed that the whole project struggle with numerous problems in terms of team management and design process itself.

Yesterday, CD Project RED did something which may look like their favourite PR game with the fans and the proof that Cyberpunk 2077 is still alive.  It was simply a mysterious post on Twitter which said almost nothing but the whole community went nuts which is a clear indication that fans are dying to see some fresh meat – at least a few concept arts.

As to me, it’s doubtful that CDPR will release some in-game trailer and according to their own words, that pleasure will be available for us only when they will be sure that the game looks like they intended and the project is almost complete. It’s should not be surprising for anyone who remembers the famous downgrade issue connected with The Witcher 3.
