Inaros is one of the most durable Warframes, ideal for facing hordes of enemies thanks to his ability to regain health, especially after the rework he received in 2024. However, obtaining him can be confusing and complicated for some players. Therefore, in this guide, we will help you overcome the challenges of his quest and obtain all the necessary parts of this formidable Warframe.
There are three ways to obtain the Warframe Inaros, one of which is paid and two are free. The first option is to buy it directly from the market, either individually or in a bundle that includes weapons and accessories. The second option is to obtain it through the Duviri Paradox, while the last and most traditional is through the quest ‘Sands of Inaros’.
Buy It Through the Market
Although we refer to this option as ‘paid’ because it uses the game’s premium currency, Platinum, it is important to note that this currency can also be obtained for free through trading with other players. Therefore, spending real money is completely optional. In the game’s market, you will find two options to purchase Inaros:
Inaros – Stand Alone Warframe
Price: 225 Platinum.
- Inaros.
- Warframe Slot.
- Installed Orokin Reactor.
The Sands of Inaros Bundle
Price: 795 Platinum.
- Warframe Inaros.
- Inaros Anubis Helmet.
- Dual Toxocyst (secondary).
- Mutalist Cernos (primary).
- Lesion (melee).
- Abrasys Syandana.
- Affinity Booster (3 days).
- Credit Booster (3 days).
- ‘Sands Of Inaros’ adventure.
This first option is the quickest way to acquire the Warframe Inaros. However, we understand that if you’re consulting this guide, direct purchase is probably not viable for you. Therefore, we will move on to the following alternatives, which offer more accessible methods to unlock Inaros without needing to spend money or Platinum.
Duviri – The Circuit
The Duviri Circuit is a game mode with roguelite elements that you will gain access to very early in your adventure. This mode allows you to choose from one of three rotating warframes each week.
During a cycle of missions of increasing difficulty, you will be able to unlock parts of the selected warframe, as well as mods and arcanes. However, the main disadvantage of this method is that the pool of eligible warframes changes weekly. Therefore, it is possible that Inaros may not always be available, which will force you to check the rotations until you find him. Additionally, you must complete the necessary progress in the Circuit within that week to obtain all the pieces of Inaros.
‘The Sands of Inaros’ Quest
This quest is the traditional method to unlock Inaros and is preferred by many players due to the interesting narrative it presents about the lore of this warframe. To start the quest, you must first acquire its blueprint, which can be purchased from Baro Ki’Teer, the Void Trader who visits every two weeks. Baro arrives on Friday and departs on Sunday.
The blueprint for the adventure costs 200 Ducats and 50,000 Credits. To craft it, you will need the following:
Time: 6 hours.
Rush: 15 Platinum.
- 5,000 Credits.
- 5,000 Nano Spores.
- 400 Oxium.
- 1 Nitain Extract.
Alternatively, you can trade the already crafted adventure with another player if you prefer to avoid the crafting process. Once crafted, the adventure is initiated from the codex, and you will immediately receive a message from Baro Ki’Teer that will start the adventure.
First Vessel
After this, the first mission will appear on the navigation console. In this mission, you will visit a tomb where you will take a vessel while learning about the history of Inaros. Upon completing this mission, you will receive the vessel and the blueprint for Inaros. Now you will be able to observe the vessel next to the codex, which will display a hieroglyph indicating your next objective: eliminate 60 enemies represented by the symbol on the vessel.
It is important to note that you must have the vessel equipped in your tool section for the eliminations to count towards progress. Additionally, eliminations made in the practice mode will not be considered. However, eliminations in the sanctuary do count towards completing the objective.
- Detron Crewman: Found in Corpus Survival missions during the first 3 to 10 minutes.
- Seeker: Appears in virtually any Grineer mission on Earth.
- Volatile Runner: Common in any infestation map. They launch themselves at you to explode.
As you achieve eliminations, the vessel symbol will glow, showing your progress. When you complete the objective, Baro will ask you to return to the temple. During the second mission, you must place the vessel on a marked door to access another. Afterwards, you will be attacked by several wild Kavats which you must eliminate before you can extract. After completing this mission, you will receive the Inaros Neuroptics Blueprint.
Second Vessel
The new vessel will display another hieroglyph and assign you a new objective, this time of only 20 eliminations.
- Railgun MOA: Found in Corpus Survival after 10 minutes.
- Hyekka Master: More common in the Helena node (Saturn) and Draco (Ceres).
- Brood Mother: Easy to find in any Infestation mission, especially on Eris.
Once the second set of eliminations is completed, Baro will express his regret for having involved you in this adventure and will ask you to open a new chamber in the temple. Upon doing so, you will need to defeat a Tomb Guardian, a rock golem that will split into smaller copies after being defeated. This battle will continue until you defeat all its copies. As a reward for completing this mission, you will obtain the Inaros Chassis Blueprint and a third vessel.
Third Vessel
The next objective will be to eliminate five special enemies; these are a bit tougher and harder to find.
- Denial Bursa: Common on Neptune, easy to find on Naiad when alarms are triggered.
- Maniac: Appears during Tyl Regor’s assassination mission (Titania, Uranus).
- Juggernaut: Summoned on any infestation map after eliminating large numbers of infected, especially on Eris.
Once this final challenge is completed, we must look for a final door where to place the vessel. Upon opening it, we will find the last vessel. When picked up, the Tomb Protector will appear, none other than Inaros, armed with a Mutalist Cernos and a Lesion. Additionally, he will be able to use his normal abilities during combat.
It is important to note that, in the midst of battle, Inaros can enter a sarcophagus, which will make him immune to damage and will awaken one of the tomb’s statues to fight by his side. These statues are known as ‘Tomb Protector Effigy’. Upon defeating these effigies, the Tomb Protector will return to the battle, accompanied by a sand shadow that will mimic the player’s form.
This process must be repeated until all the tomb effigies are defeated, which will allow you to deliver the final blow to the Tomb Guardian. Upon completing the mission, you will receive the Inaros Systems Blueprint, which is his last piece. Additionally, you will be able to use the vessel as a decoration in your orbiter, dormitory, or dojo.

Inaros Prime
Inaros Prime, the enhanced version of this warframe. With Inaros Prime, you’ll experience slight improvements in his abilities, as well as slots for already polarized mods.
Prime Access
Prime Access is an exclusive Warframe program that offers Prime versions of warframes and weapons, along with additional content. These packs are only available for a limited time. This access can only be obtained through a direct transaction with real money, without the option to purchase with Platinum.
Although Prime Access facilitates access, it is not the only way to obtain Prime warframes. Players can also acquire them through relics, which offers a free alternative.
Void Relics
The main and free way to obtain Inaros Prime is through the Void Relics. You can acquire these through Prime Resurgence, if the warframe is available in the current rotation, as well as by purchasing relic packs or completing specific missions. Each relic contains the necessary parts to craft different Prime warframes and weapons that vary by relic. This includes the components for Inaros Prime.
It is important to highlight that each part of Inaros Prime comes from a specific type of relic, which can belong to one of four categories: Lith, Meso, Neo, or Axi. To obtain these relics, you must open them by completing Void Fissure missions. During these missions, you will collect reactants, which are essential to unlock the relics at the end of each mission. Once unlocked, they will reveal a part of the warframe or some other random item.
To maximize your chances of getting the Inaros parts, you can refine the relics using Void Traces and open them in a four-member squad. This will increase their rarity and improve the probability of obtaining the rarest items.
Trade With Other Players
Another option is to trade with other players who have the Inaros Prime parts or relics you need. You can exchange valuable items or Platinum for the components you want.
Remember that, in order to trade, you must be at least Mastery Rank 2, as well as have the credits to pay the corresponding tax. The exchange can be carried out at Maroo’s Bazaar (Mars) or in any player’s dojo that has a trading post. Additionally, you can use Warframe Market to find a seller; this is a page created by the Warframe community to facilitate trading.

What’s New With Inaro’s Rework
Passives: Inaros continues healing when performing melee finishers but the animation of devouring the enemy no longer exists. Upon death, he turns into a sand version that can move and attack. If he hits enough enemies before time runs out, he respawns. The more times you die, the more hits will be necessary.
Ability 1 ‘Desiccation‘: it is more consistent in executing finishers on all enemies. It is also Inaros’ Railjack ability.
Ability 2 ‘Sandstorm‘ (replaces Devour): Inaros turns into a whirlwind of sand, moving faster and becoming invulnerable. The ability has a fixed duration and does not continuously consume energy. It drags enemies beneath its feet, allowing for melee finishers and regenerates health for each enemy caught.
Ability 3 ‘Scarab Shell‘: Armor increases from 240 to 350 (may increase with ability strength). Charging the carapace no longer prevents movement and now has a charge indicator on the interface. While active, status effects are ignored, at the cost of armor.
Ability 4 ‘Scarab Swarm‘: No longer requires health to activate. The beetles attack enemies, dealing corrosive damage. Enemies killed under the swarm’s effect turn into Kavats that attack and spread the swarm. Up to three Kavats can be active (increasable to five with the Desiccation’s Curse mod).
Changes to Augment Mods
Desiccation’s Curse: now summons Kavats instead of sand shadows.
Negation Swarm: replaced by Negation Armor, which allows Inaros to heal and become briefly invulnerable when taking fatal damage, consuming the shell.
We hope this guide has been very useful to you. Inaros is a powerful Warframe and, thanks to his recent rework, his ability to withstand damage and recover health has significantly improved. This makes him an excellent choice for those looking for a durable character on the battlefield.
