As May rolls around, we can now officially say that the Dead by Daylight (DbD) Anniversary 2024 is coming soon. Behaviour Interactive recently revealed a roadmap for what we can expect leading up to this event on the game’s official Twitter page. From cosmetic collections to a brand-new game modifier, there’s a lot of exciting content just around the corner.
Note that most of the following dates are for May, as the roadmap lays out the next four weeks:
Week 1
Today, on the 2nd, we’ll be seeing the Aftermath Collection reveal. On the 9th, the Visions of the Future Collection will be released. In Week 1, we’ll also learn more about a new game mode. From the 16th to the 23rd, the Chaos Shuffle game modifier will become playable. This modifier, previously teased on April 23rd, is expected to give the player 4 random perks per trial and players will have to try and make the most of the hand that they’re dealt, with a mix of pure luck and strategy.
Week 2
Then, on the 14th, the highly-anticipated birthday celebration 2024 broadcast will be hosted. During this live stream, unannounced content will be brought to light, most notably including the Anniversary Chapter, which will be Chapter 32. From the 14th to the 20th, the first round of the Before the Masquerade skins sale will begin. Additionally, a Public Test Build and a new Nicolas Cage outfit are on the same day as the live stream. We can also expect the survivor and killer bundle, The Endless Hunt, to become available.
Weeks 3 & 4
Next up, on the 21st, we have the Forgotten Garden collection and even more beloved cosmetics will go on sale to purchase at a discounted price until the 28th. This includes fan favourites such as Pressured Performer Trickster and Classic Ghost Face. Finally, on the 28th, the Cats & Dogs cosmetics and even more skins will be in a limited-time sale such as Carlos Oliviera for Leon Kennedy and Lunar Qipao Ada Wong until June 4th.

With all this upcoming content, fans of the asymmetrical horror have plenty to look forward to. At the moment, the speculation for this year’s killer is most notably Vecna from Dungeons & Dragons. While nothing is confirmed yet, we’ll just have to wait a couple of weeks until the broadcast officially reveals what we’ve all been waiting for.
