Dead By Daylight's series of crossovers continue, as developer Behaviour Interactive has a new Resident Evil chapter releasing soon. The first time, it included Nemesis from Resident Evil 3, Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil 2, and Jill Valentine from Resident Evil 3, and now, Albert Wesker, Ada Wong, and Rebecca Chambers will join them.

Dead By Daylight - Resident Evil Project W Gets New Trailer

Dead By Daylight‘s most recent DLC Chapter, the Roots of Dread, has been in the game for about a couple of months now and added a new Killer, the Dredge, and a new Survivor, Haddie Kaur. Included with them was a new map, and following their release was a big update to the game’s progression system. Fast forward to earlier today, in Behaviour Interactive’s Behaviour Beyond live stream. Meet Your Maker, among other projects, was announced, and one such release included a full trailer for Dead By Daylight’s next DLC chapter, titled “Resident Evil: Project W”.

This isn’t the first time that Capcom’s crossed over with Behaviour’s asymmetrical horror title, as back in June 2021, Nemesis, Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine were added as playable characters, along with the Racoon City Police Department as a new map. This trailer reveals the game’s next Killer and two survivors, those being Albert Wesker (known in-game as The Mastermind), Ada Wong, and Rebecca Chambers, respectively.

Additionally, Behaviour also announced that the Raccoon City Police Department (added back in June 2021) will be getting a map rework in this upcoming update, too. You can watch the brand-new Resident Evil: Project W trailer below.

Included with all three of these characters will be three unique perks each, though those perks and effects weren’t shown in this trailer. Resident Evil: Project W will probably cost around $11.99 USD, as the game’s two other packs with three characters (the first Resident Evil Chapter, and the currently-unavailable Stranger Things Chapter) both had the same price tag for all three characters. Behaviour will probably release a brand-new Public Test Build on PC for players to try out Wesker before his official release sometime in the future (though that date wasn’t disclosed either).

Dead By Daylight is available now.
