Haunted By Daylight Is This Year’s Dead By Daylight Halloween Event

Halloween has come knocking again, signalling developers to open the floodgates on spooky events. Dead by Daylight is no exception and for this year's Halloween festivities, they let loose the Haunted by Daylight event, bringing in new outfits, gameplay changes, and challenges for all players to enjoy this frightful season.

Haunted By Daylight Is This Year's Dead By Daylight Halloween EventHalloween is upon us in the Haunted by Daylight event for the 4v1 isometric horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight. The yearly Halloween event has come knocking at the door with new skins, challenges, and more. Players will be able to experience why the world of the Entity is the best place to celebrate the frightful festive season. Haunted by Daylight begins on October 11 and will continue through the month till its finale on November 3. 

The Haunted by Daylight festivities will kick off with the release of the anticipated store Collections, while the newest Archive Tome will be released on October 12. Gameplay Component/Free Unlockable Rewards

When the Haunted by Daylight event kicks off officially, players will be greeted with pumpkins infesting the main menu, alongside some other fearsome decorations. In-game, players will be able to experience a new form of gameplay, connected to the event, requiring players to gather and steal “Void Energy”. After collection, players will need to deposit the void energy in Unstable Rifts in order to unlock twelve Halloween-themed cosmetics for both killers and survivors.

A New Tome

The new tome named “Malevonance” begins on October 13, revealing memories of the beloved killer, Ghostface, and survivor Mikaela Reid. Plunge into the mind of Ghostface and see what happened when a local cartoonist parodies him in the local papers. Progress through the free track and premium track of The Rift to unlock a wealth of cosmetics, including outfits for Ghostface, Mikaela Reid, The Artist, and Yui Kimura.

The Free Track will include a total of 500K Bloodpoints, ensuring that every tier will earn players a new reward. You’ll also be to unlock four new masks for Ghostface, including one highlighting a familiar look from a Scary Movie.

New Collections and a Halloween Sale

When it comes to Halloween, dressing up is a mandatory requirement. Luckily the Dead by Daylight store has you covered with new and old outfits for your survivors and killers. There is a limited-time, Tricks and Treats Collection, including two festive outfits for Jane Romero and Dwight Fairfield. Jane gets the Hollywood Glamour outfit and Dwights gets the Toilet Paper Mummy outfit. 

The previous Halloween event skins tradition continues with new outfits in the Hallowed Blight Collection. This time around, The Oni, and Albert Wesker aka The Mastermind receive blight-themed attire.
