A new Grand Theft Auto V mod created by Twitter user OlegTemple turns the GTA 5 standard Los Santos map into the bustling streets of the future, Night City of Cyberpunk 2077. The mod, which you can download for yourself here, incorporates the futuristic neon aesthetic of Night City into San Andreas and the results are great!
As expected, this mod does not include the whole of the Grand Theft Auto V map. This Cyberpunk 2077 inspired location includes the streets of Downtown, Legion Square, Textile City, and Mission Row. Focusing entirely on Los Santos, the south of the map, rather than part of Blaine County – which incidentally, for further mods would be ideal for the Badlands district in CD Projekt Red’s game.
Further updates to this mod plan to add Forum Drive, Davis, Grove St., Strawberry Ave, and Vinewood Boulevard to the mix. The new Cyberpunk map will also be optimised to only load certain parts of the original GTA V map to reduce load times.
