This guide will cover how to maximize profits as a GTA Online grinder in 2023. This guide will help players take advantage of the amazing event weeks that have been active lately. The recent event weeks have seen double money bonuses on sell missions for all of the businesses that are going to be covered.
This is not a rags-to-riches guide. To maximize profits, the player will need to own some businesses or have the capital to buy and upgrade them. Regardless, these are the best ways to utilize businesses during the amazing 9/28-10/4 event week or any other time.
Job Teleporting – Save Time
This is a skill that will save a player lots of time. It all starts with going onto the interaction menu and making all Rockstar-created jobs visible except for open-wheel races. The map will be a mess, but with this method, you can teleport to any of the job markers on your mini-map. The next step is to add JoinAnawack and Anawackxs as a friend. I believe JoinAnawack still exists on PS5 but cannot confirm. Technically any player in free aim targeting mode can be used to teleport. Anawack’s accounts are idle in free aim sessions at all hours of the day, so add these if possible.
Launch any job, and turn matchmaking off in settings to get into lobbies faster. Once in the lobby, Join Anawack. The screen will prompt a first message asking if the player wants to join the session. Accept this prompt. Next, the game will prompt a message asking if the player wants to switch their targeting mode, decline this prompt. After closing this menu, the player will be kicked out of the lobby and teleported to the location of whatever job was launched.
Group Posts – Get Money With Other Grinders
In order to run MC Club businesses or CEO Special Cargo, you have to come out of your shell a little bit.
Group posts are where money grinders eat. Because GTA Online Money grinders need GTA Online Money grinders.
Go to the group post feature on PS5/XBOX Series X/S and make a post with “Please help me with *any type of* sell missions” as the description. If you use the “adults only” tag and say you need four others, slowly fellow money grinders will funnel in. And since you used the “adults only” tag, these are going to be very chill guys for the most part who want the same thing as you, money in the video game.
These good samaritans are all over the GTA Online community and will help you do the heavy lifting in exchange for helping them or often out of the kindness of their hearts. Create group posts. If you run into a dreg who makes you feel uncomfortable, you have no obligation to the people you meet and can leave any time.
The Master Control Terminal in the Arcade is an essential upgrade for that business amounting to $1,470,000. This computer will allow the player to access and resupply every one of their businesses without going to each one individually. Having this upgrade is a crucial element of money grinding in GTA Online.

High Demand Bonus – Insane Money
It is always better to sell in full public sessions. The Acid Lab, NightClub, and Bunker can be sold solo. But for CEO Special Cargo or MC Club Businesses, it is best to recruit a team of 5-11 people and take over a public lobby. Once everyone is recruited from the group post and in the same game, a massive organization can be started. Having numbers makes it so there are lots of weaponized vehicles providing overwatch during sales. Or the group can split into many different groups of four since this is the maximum number of vehicles that can spawn for any sell mission.
The high-demand Bonus is a 2% increased payout per player in the session and caps out at 50%. This extra money is always well worth the risk, and makes double reward weeks feel like hacking because of how much the sales profits increase.
If some product ever gets destroyed, quickly close the game application. This will make the game register that the sell mission was quit before being complete and will make it so only a little stock will be lost instead of everything.
Off the Radar
On top of having pals as a counter griefing measure, Lester can give the player one minute of off-the-radar time and then two more minutes of incognito mode is available in the CEO abilities menu. A good player can avert most threats in 3 minutes of radar invisibility.
Railgun – Protect Your Money

However, holding out for the business to be full before selling is not as efficient as dealing in small increments since you will need help. For $75,000 the bunker earns $310,000 in two hours if the sell mission is in a public lobby. Also, the mission never takes more than 10 minutes and often much less time. So max upgrade the bunker, only buy supplies, and only buy supplies once before selling. Always restock before launching the sell mission. The Bunker is very lucrative and very reliable income
MC Club Businesses
People have mixed opinions on these due to raids, and how often raids occur regardless of security upgrades and awful sell mission vehicles. I personally do not like MC club businesses and do not run them outside of bonus weeks.
Regardless Coke, Meth, Weed, and Counterfeit Cash should all be invested in so that they can be sourced in the Nightclub. All of the businesses pay well on double money and granted the group post works and you can find a solid group to run with. It’s worth having and max upgrading every business. Very often a player selling a max stock MC business has four vehicles to sell, this is why it is smart to bring others.
Only sell in public lobbies, even though it sounds crazy. One round of selling all five businesses with friends is going to net a ton of cash. Max upgrade and only buy supplies for these businesses as well.
The Nightclub is a contender for the best solo business in GTA Online due to how profitable it is. The warehouse has staff that can be hired to accrue illegal goods unlocked by owning businesses.
The stack that earns the most money hourly goes like this. Cargo and Shipments (CEO Warehouse), Sporting Goods (Bunker), South American Imports (Cocaine Lockup), Pharmaceutical Research (Meth Lab), and Cash Creation (Counterfeit Cash).
The technicians which total $878,000 will passively collect money as long as the business they are assigned to is owned and active. The best thing to do is to forget about this money while doing other tasks since it takes 20 real-life hours to fill the entire Nightclub. When full this business will sell for $2,200,000. Waiting for the Nightclub to fill up entirely before selling comes down to preference since the sell mission will always be one delivery vehicle.
The Nightclub also pays $50,000 per in-game day in another safe if the player has max popularity stat. The best way to maintain this popularity bar is to hire two DJs and then alternate paying $10,000 to book them at your club. If this is done on the arcade terminal then the cutscene which normally plays when the DJs switch is skipped. The safe has a max capacity of $250,000
CEO Special Cargo Warehouses
This is a very underrated way to make money in GTA Online. CEO Special Cargo especially shines during double money weeks, the lump sum payouts are fantastic. Veteran players know that selling these crates outside of double-money events isn’t wise, but that it’s good to have a ton of crates all the time. Sourcing efficiently is the primary focus of this business since filling up warehouses can be time-consuming.
Each warehouse has a worker inside of it that will source crates for the player for $7500. The employee has a chance to bring back 1-3 crates, relying on these extra hands is the best method for filling warehouses as a solo player. The cooldown for sourcing is 48 minutes or one in-game day. During downtime, the player should regularly teleport or visit their warehouses to pay their workers to source crates when they aren’t on cooldown.
The player should own as many large warehouses as possible since these yield the highest chance for workers to bring back more than one crate a day. They can also hold a maximum capacity of 111 crates making their returns insanely good. Ideally, the player’s warehouses should all be next to each other as well for easy access.
This has been the go-to solo business in GTA Online since its introduction in the Drug Wars DLC. It is free to own since the First Dose missions which unlock the Acid Lab pay enough money to buy the vehicle. It is also worth completing all First and Last Dose missions for a free Ocelot Virtue, a $2,235,000 supercar with Imani tech upgrades.
Once the player has the Acid Lab, the next order of business is completing 10 Fooligan missions to purchase an upgrade. Get these missions by calling Dax and requesting them, they operate similarly to Franklin’s Payphone hits. They also pay $25,000-$50,000, guaranteeing that the $250,000 upgrade pays for itself if the player does not spend any of the money they earn. These missions also have a cooldown of 48 minutes.
Once this setup is completed and the Acid Lab is fully upgraded, this business will pay $119,000 per hour if constantly full of supplies that cost $60,000 from Mutt, the “cook”. The max value of the Acid Lab is $351,750 once the product gets a name in the quick interaction menu. and will only be a single-vehicle sale every time. The vehicle is the bike which comes with the Lab that is fast and very maneuverable. With high-demand bonuses factored in, this sell mission is a very easy $500,000 every time. If things get hairy in this or any other mission, utilize the off-the-radar options discussed previously.
The Agency’s amenities and Franklin’s phone contact can also prove to be valuable assets to players who own this property. The player can install an armory into their agency that can supply Mk II ammo and body armor. Free snacks also come standard in all agencies.
Call Franklin to start a payphone hit, which is an easy way to make $85,000 in a few minutes.
The highlight of this business from a money-grinding standpoint is the wall safe, which gains value in relation to how many security contracts the player has done. At 201, $20,000 will go into the safe each in-game day, (48 minutes) the safe can hold $200,000. The player gets a permanent boost of 500 to their daily payment for every five security contracts completed after the first.
The Dr Dre VIP contact also pays 1,000,000 for 1-2 hours of work making it worth doing if the player wants to change up their routine.
Rockstar hit this heist with a massive nerf on September 28, 2023. All primary target values are 30% less valuable and the start-up cost is now $100,000 instead of $25,000. The Cayo Perico Heist survived the cooldown and improved guard alertness nerfs. But this new reduction in payouts does change lots of things. This is still a good way to make money in GTA Online. But a much less effective method after this patch. Completing this heist will guarantee that all businesses get filled since it takes a while to finish, but it is still a shame to note how Rockstar kind of ruined Cayo Perico. This is a viable option if the player is in the mood to drive a car, and wants to get money for it. If the player sources cars and never delivers standard and mid-range vehicles, they will pile up in the garage and will never duplicate. This means that at a certain point, the player will exclusively source top-range vehicles since the crummy cars are no longer in the pool.
In a full public lobby, these sales pay $150,000. You get to drive a car fast and experiment with different builds on cars or test drive them before purchasing. This is good for passing time while businesses gain value in the background.
There is a 30-minute cooldown for sales and a 5-minute cooldown for sourcing.
Time Trials – Easy Money
Capitalize on an extra $350,000 each week with time trials. The standard time trial and Hao’s Special Works time trial pay $100,000 and $250,000 respectively. The junk energy bicycle and RC Bandito time trials each pay $50,000 and are daily and not weekly. So if riding a bike or driving a toy car for an extra $100,000 each day doesn’t become painfully boring, it is also there. These are great activities to do while businesses are gaining value.
