Pete Hines, Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing at Bethesda, recently confirmed that the next Elder Scrolls is not one of the next two planned games.

The future for Bethesda

Bethesda have said that two upcoming games from them will be as big as Skyrim and Fallout.

Pete Hines, Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing at Bethesda, recently confirmed to IGN that two of the developer's upcoming titles will be huge undertakings and will be comparable in scope to Skyrim and Fallout games. He also stated that there won’t be an Elder Scrolls 6 for many years.

Hines then also later elaborated on the scale of Bethesda's future plans with a conversation with IGN saying that, “Todd Howard said for sure that he’s got two other projects. I’m just making sure folks understand, like, that doesn’t mean he’s going to spit out a DLC and another DLC and we’re head faking. Like, I need folks to understand that we’re talking about big games like a Skyrim and a Fallout 4 and a Fallout 3 and those don’t just happen."

These two planned games are going to be massive games that are being focused on before anything happens with the next Elder Scrolls.
