Last week we heard the bad news that Bethesda announced that Mods will not be coming to the PS4 edition of Skyrim Special Edition. This week however, a Twitter conversation showed up between a fan and the VP of Bethesda, Pete Hines. Is there hope after all?
The conversation began when Hines was questioned as to why a game like Farming Simulator 2017 can have mods on the PS4 while Bethesda games can’t. He responded saying that the complexity of a Skyrim or Fallout mod was far greater than that of other games.
Another user later asked Hines to delve deeper into the reasons why Bethesda couldn’t deliver mod support. His reply: “we can’t get into specifics. we still want to get mod support of some kind out on ps4.”
Is mod support coming for Bethesda games on the PS4? We don't know yet. But we do know that Bethesda hasn't given up on the idea yet!
Do you think mod support for these games will come to the PS4? Let us know in the comments below!
