It seems like for the next season of the Halo Championship Series, the OpTic Gaming Halo roster will be going through a team change. Their official Twitter account has just announced that they will be dropping Bradley “aPG” Laws.
Laws has been with the OpTic Gaming organization since the start of Halo Infinite, and has won multiple online and offline tournaments. Together, they have won the first season of the Halo World Championship tournament back in 2022. Recently, they got second place in the 2023 version of the tournament, and lost to FaZe Clan in two back to back series.
To a World Champion & Legend, @aPureGangster, you will always be part of the #GreenWall and we couldn't thank you more for how you represented OpTic
Best of luck for the future. pic.twitter.com/slTBiGQHbX

Laws is a veteran player for the Halo series. He has been competing since Halo 2, and throughout the years, he’s been an active competitor for multiple Halo titles.
This is not the first time a big Halo esport organization has announced dropping a member from their team. Spacestation Gaming also announced Zane “Pznguin” Hearon will be getting replaced by another member. Hearon has yet to confirm what is his future team.
The third season of the Halo Championship Series will now start with the Bandit EVO rather than the traditional Battle Rifle. There will be more additional maps and gametypes supported for the future tournaments.
There is currently an off season tournament sponsored by Mountain Dew called: “The Halo Infinite Community Gauntlet”. OpTic Halo is participating in it, but they are using their coach as a placeholder for their unannounced fourth member.
