An upcoming and inviting all ladies scrim session was supposed to be a fun and casual event for competitive Halo fans. The tournament was announced by MagickMoonshot; a caster for a broadcasting channel called LVT Halo. They are heavily revolved around Halo’s competitive scene and have casted many online and offline tournaments throughout Halo Infinite’s lifespan.
The tournament was supposed to happen this Saturday in the afternoon or evening time with a 4v4 set up in a best of five scenario. There was no prize pool and the tournament was allowed for players that aren’t on a team or players that are already on a team.
On September 12, MagickMoonshot released some further details of how the tournaments will be ran. The caster announced that she will not be inviting any people who are considered transgender. Due to these statements, Halo fans were upset.
I am building out channels in my Discord for the Ladies' scrims on Saturday. I love and value all people, and as a Christian, I believe God created people in His image as male and female. (Genesis 5:1-2) Therefore, I will not be allowing trans players to participate.

While reading through the comments, many Twitter users have shared their disappointments through these values regarding the tournament. Halo fans across Twitter have typed “Halo is for everyone” as a response to go against MagickMoonshot’s transphobic statements.
LVT Halo has recently released a statement that they will not be contracting MagickMoonshot for future events, and has also joined with other Halo fans to send their message of inclusion.
The next offline tournament for Halo Infinite will be at October 13 to 15. It will be the final and most prestigious tournament of the second season of the Halo Championship Series. The prize pool is consist of $1 million for the 4v4 format.
Halo is for everyone.
