Spacestation Gaming’s Halo Team Win Their Hosted Event

After many second and third place finishes, the Spacestation Gaming's Halo squad was ready to break the curse of top three placings. The team finally reached their fullest potential at their own hosted LAN event in Salt Lake City. The team have always been one of the best teams in Halo Infinite, and they will continue to live up that reputation.

Spacestation Gaming has finally won their first LAN event and proved themselves they are the deserving champions of the fourth LAN event of the Halo Championship Series. During the grand finals, Spacestation Gaming was met with a newly Sentinels roster that’s proving themselves to be a top tier team in the world of Halo esports.

Sentinels have won series against both FaZe Clan and OpTic Gaming. Both of these teams are considered to be the favorable team of winning this event. FaZe Clan has won the last two previous LAN events and OpTic Gaming was the 2022 world champions during the first season of the Halo Championship Series.

Despite the much success, Spacestation Gaming beats Sentinels in the grand final with a 4-0 victory. During the Winners Finals match, the two teams did play against each other. Spacestation Gaming won the series with a 3-1 victory.

Before the Salt Lake City event, Spacestation Gaming was placing second and third place through multiple events in the second season of the Halo Championship Series.

The Spacestation Gaming team is consist of Adam “Bound” Gray, Kevin “Eco” Smith, Zane “Pznguin” Hearon, and Braedon “StelluR” Boettcher. These players have been teaming together since the end of November 2022.

During this event, Spacestation Gaming did not get sent to the lower bracket like they previously had. However, they had a nail biting moment in one match up during the upper bracket.

They were close to getting sent to the lower bracket during a match up against OpTic Gaming where Spacestation Gaming needed to win a fifth match to progress the upper bracket. Spacestation Gaming also reverse swept OpTic Gaming.

The next Halo Infinite LAN event will happen on Fort Worth, Texas on September 1. The event will end on the third. It will be the last LAN event until the prestigious Halo World Championship 2023 event which starts on October 13.
