For the second week running, Ghost of Tsushima is sitting pretty at number one in the UK games charts. The samurai adventure from Sucker Punch has been a resounding success for Sony with the title being the company’s fastest-selling first-party original IP since Horizon Zero Dawn in 2017. Tsushima shipped 2.4 million units worldwide in its first three days.
As for the rest of the top ten, Animal Crossing: New Horizons was in second up from fourth in the previous week. Codemasters impressive F1 2020 remains at number three in the charts despite releasing nearly three weeks ago.
Paper Mario: The Origami King which released on the same day of Ghost of Tsushima is sat in fourth in the UK for the past week which is down from second from the week it released.
The Last of Us Part II remains in the top six down from fifth the week before and it wouldn’t be a top-selling games list of the week without Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V which are in Seventh and Eight respectively.
