Ghost of Tsushima fans are getting even more content to enjoy this month. The anticipated online expansion to the hit samurai game, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, is coming to PS4 on October 16. With this addition to the game, players will be able to play co-op quests online with up to 4 friends. Each player has the choice of one class out of Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin. A post on the PlayStation Blog has elaborated on each of these classes, as they all have unique abilities and skills. Furthermore, with the survival-style missions pitting you against waves of enemies, I’m sure you’ll want a varied party.

However, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends isn’t the only addition to the game. Update 1.1 brings a whole bunch of new content for single player fans, too. The addition of New Game+ will let you replay the vast single player story from the very beginning, keeping all your gear and techniques from your last playthrough. New Game+ also has some additional content exclusive to a second playthrough, like a new merchant, new charms, and new PlayStation trophies. And the difficulty will be bumped up to provide players with a harder challenge than before.

It’s worth noting that all this new content is free, for those who own the game. Anybody who has already played Ghost of Tsushima, or was waiting to try it, has new reason to jump in whether it’s the co-op multiplayer or extended single player experience. If this content is just as good as the base game, fans will have many hours of great gaming to look forward to.
