This new episode will last around 25 minutes with Director of The Last of Us Part II Neil Druckman talking us through a new extensive look at the game. The show will be closed out with ‘never-before-seen’ gameplay of the highly anticipated sequel.
This new and likely final gameplay before release comes just two weeks after the release of a new story trailer which gave us a bigger insight into the characters, world and narrative.
In this blog post, Sony had to continue to reiterate that this new Stae of Play would not include any new details surrounding the PS5 so fans would not get their hopes up. Despite being very tight-lipped now, we do expect Sony to finally lift the lid on PS5 soon.
The Last of Us Part II State of Play will air this Wednesday (the 27th) at 9PM BST/ 10PM CEST.
