Doom: Eternal‘s PC specs will put your rig through Hell.
The Winter lull finally comes to an end with the release of Doom: Eternal, releasing March 20th. Id Software has furnished us with the details of Doom: Eternal‘s PC specs. If you happen to own the top of the line custom rig, you can even play at 1,000fps, according to the game’s lead engine programmer, Billy Kahn. For us with more meagre machines, these are the minimum and recommended specifications.

- 64-bit opperating system (Windows 7/Windows 10)
- Processor: Intel Core i5 @ 3.3 GHz or better/ AMD Ryzen 3 @ 3.1 GHz or better
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)
- Storage: 50GB available space
- Additional notes: 1080p/ 60fps/ Low quality settings

Doom: Eternal Looks Set to Exceed Expectations
The game will look great on consoles, but the ultimate experience will naturally be on PC. The long-awaited sequel to the 2016 reboot is shaping up to meet, if not exceed expectations.
